"Best hotel on Mission Beach"

This is my "go to" accommodation for the San Diego area. Mission Beach is wonderful and the Wayfarer is absolutely the BEST!. Nice amenities, staff, rooms and location. Sleeping with the sliding doors open and hearing the ocean waves is better than any sleep sound machine. On tip: If you have a lot of devices to plug in, like I need, bring along an extension cord with multiple outlets on the end of it. No issue with the Wayfarer, but since they provide a lot of appliances you may need an extra plug or two.

"Best location ever!"

If you are looking to be a few steps away from the beach, this is it! The room was nice. Everything you needed is within walking distance. There are rentals available if needed too such as bikes, beach towels, boogie boards, umbrellas. The hot tub and pool were great! The whole experience was amazing!

Hotel was very clean, staff and management very friendly. Location was perfect, right off the Mission Beach boardwalk. We had a wonderful time and I would stay there again if we come back to SD.

Excellent location, very near bars, restaurants and shops. Lovely pool with open view of beach and sea, but also secure access for guests. Lovely room, very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good free Wi-Fi, safe and quiet AC. Would stay there again. Thank you.

Mattress topper on bed was uncomfortable, staff removed it as soon as we asked them to. Need English breakfast tea available in hotel cafe please, only Earl Grey and flavoured tea.
