Hotel Villa Cipro

La casa era muy bonita y el baño nuevo. Cerca de la playa y de la calle principal de Lido. Cercano a la parada del vaporetto.

El desayuno es bastante justo. El pan y la bollería secos. Muy variado, te hacen huevos revueltos y bacon. Yogurt y fruta. Pero todo muy sin más. Eso si, tiene delito el café. El café es de los peores que he tomado nunca. Ya no en italia, en cualquier sitio. El 1 día me lo tomé y antes de llegar al vaporetto tuve que para en una cafetería a ir al baño. Horrible. El baño tenía una tabla del suelo hundida y era bastante incómodo. Las almohadas duras y compactas. Eso si el primer día pedimos otra y nos trajeron una un poco mejor. El aire acondicionado muy bien. Otro inconveniente que se solucionaría con mosquiteras es que al ventilar la habitación se llena de mosquitos. Nos tocó al lado del jardín y nos han comido aun yendo con repelente. Entiendo que es zona de mosquitos pero con una simple mosquitera en la ventana habría menos. Además las paredes estaban llenas de mosquitos muertos. Una pena, el sitio está bien pero hay mucho que mejorar.

The location was fantastic, central to the main street lined with shops, bars, bakeries and restaurants. It was a short walk to the beach, which was also perfect for our weekend plans. We really appreciated the early check-in and the offer to hold our bags after check-out. The staff were friendly and helpful. The value (for a hotel room in Venice) was good, and our room had a lovely terrace with lounge chairs that we enjoyed. The A/C worked well and cooled off the room nicely.

The bathroom was outdated and required climbing into a tub to shower; and the seal on the glass was torn, causing the shower to leak not only onto the bathroom floor, but onto the wooden floor in the bedroom. This is a hazard for guests. I actually slipped trying to step out of the tub. The pillows were dense and flat; we requested a second set and that helped. The bed was overly firm nothing about the bedding (or the towels) was plush.
