Best location!!!

My only recommendation is that housecleaning should come everyday. You shouldn’t have to walk to the office to request it for the amount of money you’re spending on the stay.

We were pleasantly surprised by this property as we booked it last minute. Staff was exceptional, it was steps from the beach. The rooms were perfect and newly renovated and very clean. Would definitely recommend! Centrally located to everything.

The biggest difference we noticed from last time we were there to this time is Lee!! We liked this location before, but the upgrades (Tiki Hut, outdoor seating, rooms, music and food truck ) have made a great spot even better. Then there is Lee, he brings such a great energy and experience to the place, it really makes a huge difference in the overall customer experience. Not only was he attentive to everyone he interacted with, but by the end of the week we felt like we knew him personally. You don’t find that in the hospitality industry anymore . What ever you’re paying him he deserves more, as we might just recruit him to come work for us ! ☺️☺️

The mattress is a disaster—incredibly uncomfortable! It actually sinks in. Cleaning and replacement of toiletries, etc. was less than adequate. The room is advertised to sleep four. There is no way that four people could share that tiny space. The living area/kitchen disappears when the sofa bed is pulled out. We enjoyed our stay because the room was pleasant and the location is ideal.

This motel (doors open right to your room) is in a premier spot on Ocean Blvd by Siesta Key Beach (a short 2 block distance). It is not glamorous, but is clean, practical and provides what you need for a great time at the beach and the strip with all the great bars, shops and restaurants- all an easy walking distance away. The pool and hot tub area are also great. Our biggest complaint was the WiFi- horrible/non- existent. Also the Tiki bar on property is overpriced and has mediocre food at best- travel down the strip for much better options (Sun Garden for breakfast is a must!) . Parking is also a challenge- limited spots available on streets surrounding the motel. Overall we felt it was a good value for the awesome location, amenities and overall helpful staff.

Cons: We had a room that slept 4. The room wasn’t the one I selected on line. There were 2 queen beds that barely fit 4 woman of average size. The room was very small. There wasn’t much room for 4 large suitcases and for putting clothes away. We spent the whole week juggling suitcases. One of the bed’s mattress's was caving in on one side. There was also no where to sit in the room to just have a cup of coffee. I was told when I made the reservation there was assigned parking. However it’s not by room number. You have to,drive around and hunt down a spot each time you returned to the room. There is no monitoring of spots. People parking, would take up two spots, no regard for others. It was very frustrating. The worst of all was the internet. None of us could get on. It was completely nonexistent. I was told so many reasons why, it became a joke. We should have been compensated something for that but the owners weren’t interested. Pros: Location is perfect. You can walk to the beach and most of the area of shops and some restaurants. The pool area was lovely. Very clean water and easy walk into the pool. No ladders or stairs to wrestle with. Plenty of chairs. Added bonus of free washer and dryer at the pool. Overall I wouldn't call the place a resort. More like a clean motel. There should be no resort fee. That’s a total ripoff. I would look elsewhere in the area before I would stay here again.
