The room was newly renovated. Short walk to the beach. They provided beach chairs and coolers. Awesome pool. Walk to all restaurants and bars with music every night.

This hotel has a lot going for it, primarily its location. We stayed for 3 nights. Pros: Beach access is across the street. Each room has beach chairs and a cooler, and you can check out a wagon as well. Many restaurants, shops, coffee places and ice cream shops are an easy walk from the hotel. Rooms are clean and updated. Daily housekeeping is available upon request. All staff we encountered were pleasant and helpful. Bar/restaurant was fun and a great place to watch the Super Bowl. Cons: Rooms are on the small side and the walls are thin. Our room was fairly quiet, but I can imagine the poolside and barside rooms could get loud, though the music would stop by 10pm. Wifi was weak to nonexistent. Layout of all the rooms is somewhat odd. Parking can be tricky, even though theoretically you should have a spot, it could be around the corner and down the street from your room. All in all, a solid choice for the Siesta Key area, especially if you want easy beach access and walkability.

We just returned to our home from a 2 night stay at the Siesta Key Beach Resort and Suites. We arrived an hour earlier than 4pm which is check in time. We were told that the room was ready however if we wanted to get in, we would have to pay an extra amount of money. I thought she said $25 but my husband thought she said $75 . In any case we were happy to stroll and go visit the beach while waiting for 4 o’clock. The next day, I was just putting some stuff away in the room, getting ready for room service when my husband told me there was no maid service at this hotel. We paid $400 each night for this room. It was clean and fairly spacious. There was a kitchenette with a small table and a small couch,and I assume it was one of the better rooms.I found the above 2 policies unacceptable and would not return..

Another great stay this year...great communication from when we made the reservation months ago and throughout check in and check out. Owen was once again the guy who handled the check in process, and I'm sorry I didn't get the name of the gal I spoke with at check out time but she was very nice as well. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable....the location is definitely a plus!!! Our only concern this year as well as last year (and this may be beyond all your control) is that there were workers trucks that would occupy the handicap parking spaces, it didn't create a big problem for us but it could have been an issue that didn't need to happen if it did. Love the place and the friendly staff...with any luck we'll see you many more times in the future.

Location to beach. Walking distance to local restaurants. Pool was clean with plenty of pool chairs and loungers. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.

Pillows were to thick and very uncomfortable.

Code didn't work after check in, someone had to come reset the room code after I called the front desk
