The Inn At Fox Hollow Hotel

This is such a lovely place. We loved our stay in one of the “Royal Suites” and enjoyed the pool tremendously.

There was noise in the wall (maybe AC) of the room. Otherwise all was well. The pool was too cold to be used.

The room was very spacious, comfortable and very clean also. The pool and hot tub, and the bar overlooking it, were nice. The breakfast and dinner buffet were consistently served cold, as the food was placed in sternos that were not turned on. Such an easy thing to get right; maybe staff not trained? The hotel was well located and they had an excellent restaurant, Volpe, on the property.

Breakfast is fine. Hot or cold options available and coffee 24/7. Room is a good size and well equipped - including kitchen equipment - sink, fridge, coffee machine etc. Plenty of parking space and importantly for us very close to the Bethpage golf courses. Desk staff were very helpful with an issue with the air con and had it fixed immediately. Pool area nicely set out.

Evening complementary buffet is basic, little choice but ok for a snack. No real 'quiet' indoor space to read etc. Options on the outdoor terrace but it was 98 degrees outside! Shower only - no bath.

Despite the room being booked for 3 adults the sofa bed was not made in advance, and when we asked them to make it, they threw on a fitted sheet and a bare blanket. The Wi-Fi service was nonexistent to the point that you had to go to the lobby to do any work. They charged $150 nonrefundable pet fee for a 5 pound dog. However the carpet in the room was filthy and our dog was smelling it all the time. Our room was across from the laundry room. Early in the morning the noise was bad enough that you couldn’t sleep even if you wanted to. Although the hotel had plenty of parking outside, there was rarely any spots available and we frequently had to drive around 4 to 5 times to find an empty spot.

Stay was trash…there wasn’t a stay at all

Nice hotel with very comfortable sheets that offer a great nights rest. I would surely stay again.

Room floor was filthy. Someone’s old Bobby pins were everywhere. Bathroom floor was visibly unclean. End tables were unclean remote only had 1 battery. I had to go to the desk for batteries. So obviously the remote was not cleaned or checked. Just put in the bag.

Wish I was able to stay more than the one night I booked for a work party !!! Room was very clean and spacious!!
