Hotel Alpenrock Breckenridge, Curio Collection by Hilton

Room was nice. Hotel was clean and a nice location. Eric at front desk was very helpful.

First room had no heat. Had to spend 3+ hours in the cold while staff tried to fix heating issue. They could not. Wife asked for a new room and staff member on phone said they could not help. They were not willing to go the extra mile to help us out. Finally spoke to Eric personally at front desk and he was able to find us a new room. Also, we were woken up in the middle of the night by a fire alarm. (not the hotels fault I know). Not enough staff members are fluent enough in English. They were not fluent enough during fire alarm emergency in the middle of the night. Did like getting charged for parking. That is total BS. Hotel has recouped their cost multiple times over already. Did not like the design of the hotel were you had to go from one floor elevator to another to get to our room on 8th floor. Who designs a hotel like that? Unbelievable.

Did not know there was a 55 dollar charge you had to pay for valet parking…..they have no onsite self parking. Also a 45 dollar charge even if you don’t use the gym or sauna.

Valet lost keys, it was a special night as gotten engaged that day and no one helped make the stay feel special. Dogs barking all day and night in other rooms down the hall.

Hotel was beautiful, but beware of hides charges. Parking is $55 per night through the hotel (there is cheaper parking across the street) and they will carge an extra $45 per night for “resort fees”. This was excluded from the total and was below in fine print. Also, no free breakfast and everything is overpriced. Would receive a better review if they didn’t have so many hidden fees.

We had an amazing time at Alpenrock Hotel in Breckenridge. The location is perfect—close to town but quiet with beautiful mountain views. Our room was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. The hot tub and sauna were great after skiing, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Breckenridge.

Beautiful hotel, recently renovated. Be aware that they charge $55/night for parking even in the off-season. There is a cheaper lot across the street at $40/night. No laundry facility or service. No complimentary coffee in the lobby. They charge $22 for a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon in the hotel bar so we stopped going there despite the great staff (Phil and Kim). The bathroom fuse blew twice when my wife was drying her hair using the hotel-supplied dryer. So, they still have some kinks to iron out in my opinion. The manager Eric addressed some of our concerns when checking out which was good - otherwise the rating would be less. Pity, as a beautiful hotel and location.

I feel qualified to give a review since I am a Lifetime Diamond Member. We visited this hotel several years ago, when it was still a Doubletree. Wow, what a difference a few years makes. I would give this remodel a 15 out of 10. No resemblance to the old property whatsoever. Fitness center is very up-to-date and well equipped. We did not use the pool, but we did use the hot tubs and they were very modern as well. We did not eat dinner or lunch at the hotel, but looking over the menu, it would’ve done very well. The location is excellent, a very short five minute walk down the hill, into town. The staff remembers your name, excellent example of professional training. Just one recommendation, the doors tend to shut a little loudly. I am at a Hilton right now in St. Petersburg Florida. The doors here shut much quieter. Perhaps they could share with you their secret.

Location. The fact that the hotel is relatively new. Also the beads were very big and comfortable.
