the outrageous pric efor a mediocre motel at Master week

This motel frightened me when I pulled up. Soiled mattress under the stairs shown in the photo. Felt like a dangerous place to stay. Backed the car out without checking in and found another hotel.

The hotel is really nasty. It was the only hotel we could find for Master's week. I packed extra sheets and pillow cases. We bought some dis-infectant and air fresheners. To give you an idea I had to unpack my suitcase outside so the odor from the hotel would not get in our house. The managers were nice enough, there just isn't much you can do with a property that is in such bad condition.

Door lock didn’t work the first day. Ceiling pain peeling due to past roof leaks. Manager and maintenance person walking around barefoot.

Wallpaper falling off, dirty bathroom, smoke smell, AWFUL

Worst place ever. Roaches, cigarette butts in sink, paint and wall paper peeling, mold in bathroom, employees stealing from guest rooms, horrible coffee, charged $35 for one night roll-away bed,argumentative owner. I would never ever stay at a Scottish Inn again and no one else should also.

I have traveled a lot and stayed in what I thought were bad hotel/motels but this was the worst. The list of negatives is larger than there is space. Just the building alone should be condemned. The people at the desk did the best they could under this kind of conditions. There were bugs, paint pealing off the walls, curtains falling off the wall, Stopper in the sinks was missing, safety chain was non existent, The only chair in the room felt like it would collapse when sitting in it, no hair dryer in the room but did get one from the desk when contacted Like I said the list can go on & on. You felt like it was not a safe place to stay. This is located in a bad area of Augusta. Once upon a time it was probably good but so many business were closed around the motel. If I didn't make it clear enough, "don't stay there".

I honestly stayed in the room less than 10 minutes. The hotel grounds looked as if the hotel had been abandoned, the room had such a smoking, musty smell you could not stand to stay in it and when I turned the light on in the bathroom roaches began to run behind and into the toilet. I understand that the hotel was not rated very high when I booked it (2stars) and was not expecting much when I got there but I would have expected it to be clean enough to sleep in. I was in town for The Masters golf tournament and ending up driving to South Carolina to find a hotel to stay in. They make it perfectly clear when you sign in that it is "Non-Refundable" and that is because they know once you open the door you would not be staying there

Worst hotel I've ever stayed at, and won't be staying there ever again.

It was not what I expected. I would not return.
