Knights Inn Mount Airy

This is an old motel. The ice machine did not work. But it has a new management team and the room was very clean.

Room has been completely renovated. The room was very clean. Fit my needs for a place to sleep overnight on a vacation trip to the Atlantic coast. This is a basic room in a Budget motel, but recommend for a one night stay due to renovation and cleanliness. If spending multiple nights in area you may want a facility with more amenities.

That the pool was not opened . the room was hot until you had to turn on the air conditioner which most places that I have stayed the air was on

Need better ac and open pool

The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was OK on comfort. Able to park right outside our hotel room door. Close to several restaurants and 5 minutes from downtown. Breakfast is basic: toast, bagels, ceral, juice, and coffee.

We chose this hotel over another because it is advertised they had a pool. On arrival, it was covered (witerized). I asked if it was going to be open and was told "no". It appears there is no intent on opening it. We stayed 3 nights and had to ask for more towels. I understand staying 1 or 2 nights not getting housekeeping, but at least refresh the linens on the 3rd day. Despite this, we would stay again.

Pool was closed otherwise perfect!!!!!!

Very friendly staff. Very clean and attractive rooms.

The a/c was loud. The coffee in the lobby was not to my liking.
