"RV express"

2.0

This owner also owns the RV park behind Hotel office. He Rips people off. He charged us $45.00 for the night. We had no idea we were across from a convicted felon. We had a right to know. He had an ankle monitor on. This place is also a dump. Do not stay here. It is call RV Express.

I had a confirmation for a smoking room and they didn't have one. There were at least 50-75 CATS on the property. The rooms smelled like cat urine as well as the whole property. This place was a joke! I can't believe the health department hasn't shut it down due to all of the cats.

"Spend $20 more somewhere else "

6.0

Cats everywhere. The employee was super nice but the tiny shampoo bottle has obviously been refilled several times, there are wild cats everywhere and I mean everywhere, there is no breakfast even though I double checked and it says there is, curtain doesn’t cover the window and the parking lot is mega lit so don’t plan on sleeping much if you like it to be dark, definitely won’t be back. All in all, employee was the only pleasant part of our stay.

Had to stay for a few nights. Great place. Like the cats that are nearby. rooms are clean and the heater worked for the entire trip. there is food in the main office but you need to walk there. overall a good place to stay. no discount with the connected gas station.

Close to places I needed to go, right off the highway. Gas station right down the hill. Quick check in, warm room. Lots of parking. Great water pressure. Well lit. Comfy bed. HBO. Some bugs were in the room that needed to be taken care of. Did not have do not disturb signs. Checked out at 3 am, guy was asleep, so he kept my $2 key deposit.

"Nice and peaceful location"

10.0

I recently stayed here one weekend because it was cheap and a convenient location to Knoxville and Lenoir City. The super nice gentleman who checked me in upgraded my queen room to king bed at no extra charge because all of the queen beds were taken. ($53 plus tax). The motel rooms were at the top of a hill. The small unattached office is at the bottom of the hill next to an RV park. I did not use the continental breakfast if they had one. My bed slept great and had plenty of pillows and covers. There was good water pressure in the shower. Flat screen TV on the wall with several channels including HBO. The motel is in a very quiet out-of-the-way location. That was all I needed for this stay. Yes there were 16 feral cats at the office when I checked out, but they looked healthy and did not seem to be bothering anyone. There is a Marathon station located at the bottom of the hill if you need gas or supplies, but other than that, nothing is within walking distance. If you are looking for a cheap place to stay with the basic amenities and a quiet location, then this place is for you. If you are looking for a 5-star hotel, or if you want to be close to all the attractions, or if you are afraid of cats, then I suggest keep looking elsewhere. As for me, I will be staying here again.

"Small town charm!!"

10.0

We have stayed at this hotel twice in the last month. The first time was a "have to" situation. The second time was because we chose to. The first time was in September. We had car trouble and had to stay in loudon. The night manager (Ricky or Robby.. I can't remember his name. I'm so sorry!!!) Was so super helpful. He got us a room in a pinch and even called our room to make sure we were ok and gave me some tips or hints about my poor car. After a month, my car was fixed and we stayed in loudon due to the distance from home; about 4 hours. Again, the night manager was there and was very helpful and kind to us. Should we get the opportunity to stay in that area again, we will stay there again. Room was clean. Staff was nice. Hotel was quiet

The fact that registration is not connected to the hotel rooms and you have to walk up the hill with your luggage is a joke!!!

"For The Price... "

8.0

I came to the area with my dog & my boat to do some fishing for the weekend. I had looked at a few campgrounds in the area but the hotels in the area weren't much more, so i decided to book for the weekend. It's a budget motel with fairly low prices - it's not the Ritz. My room was clean, it had a TV with cable, the AC worked well, it had a micro-fridge and I had plenty of room to park my truck & trailer. Sure there were cats running around but they don't bother anything and probably mean the premises is rodent free. I had 2 complaints. The bed wasn't comfortable. I was so worn out at the end of every night that it didn't keep me up at night but I will say the mattress was on the stiff side. The power outlet (for charging) in the boat parking lot was unavailable during my stay. If i'd have known that in advance, I would've brought a few extension cords & gotten power from the motel parking lot. Neither complaint would keep me from returning to this motel. It's a convenient location to many ramps. As long as the price stays low, I'll be staying here whenever I feel like hitting this part of the TN river system.
