we have been going here for many years. the manager and owner are great and make us feel very welcome. we would not think of staying any where else. we always feel safe when we are there. our dogs go with us and they are always welcome.

We called the hotel on the morning before the eclipse and were lucky to get a room due to a cancellation. We were absolutely amazed that the management of the hotel had not jacked up the price of the rooms because of the eclipse. The hotel is located on a small hill, so viewing the eclipse was fantastic. Our room had 2 double beds with beautiful comforters/bedspreads that were obviously new. The room included a microwave and a new refrigerator. Management was so friendly and genuine.

We chose this place because it was about the half way point of a trip that was too long to make all at once. We just wanted a clean place to sleep and we got about what we expected. The room was clean, mattresses were comfortable and since we were on the back side of hotel, it was quiet. Only downside was that the office was "down the hill" and for a handicapped person (me) it was quite a walk to go get coffee. Would/will book here again if in the area.

Hotel is not bad for the money. You get what you pay for. The air condition was a little smelly as with most older hotels with window air conditioning. But other than that it was okay.

Friendly courteous and simply outstanding. Thank you to Rick and staff for making our trip great. Anyone traveling in this area I would highly recommend this motel. Can't wait until our next visit ! Many places to visit and close to convenience. We love it here and will be coming back.

the hotel was clean nice folks at counter, the bed were very shirty, the big screen tv, the pillows were some what too hard for me but good overall ,good breakfast and very good coffe
