Relax Inn

I was in the area for a job interview; therefore, I did not want to spend a lot of money. I got a very inexpensive rate. This property is not one I would take my family to, but as a single traveler needing an inexpensive place to sleep, this minimally suited my purposes. The important thing is that the bathroom and sink area were just fine. Only one cigarette burn on the edge of the tub. The bed was OK. There was no alarm clock or box of Kleenex. The phone was an old fashioned touchtone phone. I called to leave a wake up call but no one answered. The room heater was a little finicky. The AC was OK but the heater took a little while before it came on. The floor was vacuumed, although the carpeting was old and stained. The wallpaper is peeling and one of the lights was out. There were a couple of cigarette burns on the bedspread. There was a TV in the room but no guide to what channels were available. The gentleman at the desk checked me in efficiently and politely.

I was in the area for a job interview. Since the hotel stay was on my dime, I was looking for an inexpensive motel. Relax Inn offered a very inexpensive rate, about $45 a night for a single plus tax. All I can say is that it was clean. The bathroom was good, which was a big thing. The overall room exhibited a great deal of wear: peeling wall paper, stained carpeting, the ubiquitous cigarette burns on the tub and on the bedspreads (nonsmoking room), a very old touchtone phone, a finicky room heater. But I can't argue that you get what you paid for. If it was just me, I'd stay here again because it was clean and cheap, but I would not bring my family.

We stayed here in our way to Tennessee. One of the poorest decisions made. While the lobby was nice the room was horrible. It smelled of smoke. The carpets were nasty the bed shook anytime you moved. There was cracks around the door. Room was extremely hot. The air conditioner took forever to cool down. Pillows were flat. Recliner was broken sheets were dirty and had burn marks in both of them you could tell they had not been changed. Towels were thin and felt like sandpaper. Ants in the room. Hole in bathroom wall. Door jam in bathroom had a Crack in it. Shower was tiny and the tub did not drain well. Floor had signs of water damage and was weak in spots. This looked like a former extended 'stay hotel with the stove removed but the wall hadn't been cleaned since it was taken out. Trust me do not stay here if you plan to relax.

The owners and his family are a God send for me! I am staying there going on 16 months and Perry and Naly have treated me like family. The rates are super reasonable, the accommodations are more than sufficient. I have never had a single problem since my stay there. Thank you Relax Inn!

Stayed at the Relax Inn in Richmond Kentucky for about a week enjoyed my stay there. The manager there was great very nice and very helpful. The room rates are not bad and it's quite there. I would stay there again...

Stayed there for almost 2 years while on a job assignment, made me feel like home. Room was great, staff was exceptional, and good rates. Perry and Naly the owners made you feel welcomed and take care of their customers like family. Will stay there again if I'm signed back up for an assignment there.

We were very happy with our stay. Good mattress and pillows. Quiet. Inexpensive. Parking lot and room entry ways well lit at night. Front desk friendly. Room clean. Had a recliner in room. Would stay here again. Across from Cracker Barrel. Good deal.

The room was not very clean, it had a kitchen area that has old food in the cupboards. Bathroom had beatles crawling around. It was hard to sleep with music blasting on one side of me and constant traffic in parking lot with drug deals going down late in the night. I woke up with bugs crawling on me and immediately left and went to laundromat to each all my stuff. Worst stay I've had anywhere.

A fellow co-worker and I stayed here for about 6 months. We had no complaints and thought the rooms were a good deal for the price. The staff were very polite and helpful. Compared to other local motels, this was the best deal by far.

I checked into Relax Inn only planning to stay a week or two until I found an apartment while my construction job lasted down here. The rates were so reasonable and customer service so good I stayed 3 1/2 months. It is an older motel and slightly dated but owner does a very good job keeping it maintained. It's next door to the Richmond Police Dept and security wise felt very safe there, never had any issues with theft or vehicle break ins. This is a very quiet motel located next to Cracker Barrel
