"ADA Non Compliance"

When making my reservations months in advance, I stated that I need a 1st floor Ada accessible room, as I had a handicap mobility scooter. The clerk said that I would be on the 1st floor in a room with a kitchenette. Upon check in, I was given a room on the 2nd floor and I was told that there were no 1st floor rooms available. The day before check out, the elevator broke and was rendered Out if Order. My 350+ lb handicap mobility scooter was now stranded on the 2nd floor. When I confronted the clerks at the front desk about the situation they stated that I would have to wait until the elevator was repaired. They were unsure when that would be and really didn't have any concern. I had to make a call and I had 2 veteran friends, who were still in the area come and carry my 350+ lb handicap mobility scooter downstairs. I have since asked for a refund for my stay, but I have heard back from no one from the hotel.
