Sunway Hotel Phnom Penh

I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience for a few key reasons. First, we arrived early in the morning to Cambodia and got to the hotel around 10 AM. To our pleasant surprise, the staff kindly offered us a free early check-in, which was greatly appreciated after a long journey. Second, the breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of choices and even fresh watermelon juice, which was a refreshing touch. Third, the location is great, just a short 7-minute walk to the riverside, making it easy to explore the area on foot. Lastly, while the hotel itself has a slightly older look, the rooms are cozy, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable, complete with a nice carpet that added a warm and homey feel. Thank you, Sunway Hotel! We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

Very outdated hotel. Aircon in this hotel seems to be a common issue amongst travellers. Lobby is hot as ever! Totally no AC, luckily checkin was quick. AC in room warm, even after trying to adjust temperature settings. High bathtub without handles are not ideal for handicapped/pregnant women. They have only 2 handicapped rooms with standing shower. Breakfast, below par. Hotel doesnt seem crowded at all. Shops are NOT 5 mins walk away as told by front desk. Overall, stay elsewhere. Give this outdated hotel a hard pass.

The staff are ALL brilliant, friendly and helpful. They all have gone above and beyond to make my stay so good. Would stay again

An exceptionally luxurious hotel offering top-notch facilities and amenities. Located right in the heart of the city, it provides both convenience and comfort. I especially enjoyed the diverse selection of delicious cuisines served—truly a memorable stay!

An older property that has been upgraded. A very good value for the dollar. Great location and the staff was excellent!
