Amazing value for the price. Recently renovated and very clean. Free parking with security gate that scans your room card to get in. Just a few miles from downtown. I will be back!

Gated community. My only issue was the middle washer didn’t spin well so it took my clothes forever to dry. The room was super clean!!!

Night attendant was polite and helpful. He offered choice of 1st or 2nd floor room. I opted for his recommendation of 2nd floor. Morning attendant had an exceptional attitude: friendly, welcoming, eager to assist. Air was not on when I arrived and room was hot and muggy. A/C worked great once on. Room smelled like Indian incense and weed, but got better after the a/c and bathroom vent had been running a few hours. The smell didn't stick to me when I left like I was afraid of. Floors were not adequately swept and had not been mopped. They didn't look bad, but socks told. There were grains of rice on the wall and headboard where I guess someone had thrown or splattered food. It wasn't obvious, but unpleasant to discover. Sheets, tub, toilet, and sink seemed well cleaned. Great hot water. Minifridge, microwave, and telephone. Comforter needed replacing. No tv remote. Rooms and parking were gated and well lit. Could easily view car from room. Felt fairly secure to be in New Orleans. No bugs of any sort! Rooms were quiet and didn't see/hear anything sketchy. Served my needs for an inexpensive hotel, wished it was cleaner, but not enough to ask or complain when I had arrived between 9-10pm and needed to sleep.

There was a backless wooden bench and the bed to sit on. A chair would have been wonderful.

At first i was hesitant about the place because theres a liquor store out front, but the actual hotel (that also has nice RV hookups) was gated access behind it. Obviously a renovated hotel but rooms were nice and newly renovated. Clean. Had no issues with neighbors or noise. Reasonably priced too. Would stay again.

Simple, but there was no chair in the room.. just a suggestion to the management

The gentleman who checked us in was very helpful with great suggestions. The room was fine except that the spare roll of toilet paper was moldy. Bus service was close to the hotel and cheap. Taxi from the airport was $52.00 and the taxi to the cruise port was $30. The gas station right at the motel had good coffee and food were reasonable priced. The motel is away from downtown and the riverfront but a short bus away is Peewee’s crab cakes restaurant that was amazing oh and Walmart is there as well.
