DoubleTree by Hilton Bodrum Işıl Club Ultra All Inclusive Resort

I recently spent a week at this hotel with high expectations, having previously enjoyed a stay at a DoubleTree by Hilton in Antalya. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. Service quality was poor, and the food options were extremely limited. The restaurant menu was repetitive each day, featuring only one type of fish and almost no seafood at all, which was surprising for a coastal location. Overall quality fell far short of the brand’s standards, and in my opinion, the hotel did not even meet the level of a typical 3-star property. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this hotel to others seeking good service, varied dining, or the quality usually associated with DoubleTree by Hilton.

Absolute disgrace of a hotel: - overcrowded public areas, as there are many more people than the claimed beach and pool facilities can actually accommodate - rude and outright racist attitude from stuff, as most requests from non-Turkish guests are treated very indifferently and at the lowest priority…the most popular answer is “my friend / colleague help you”, but no one comes to help. Whereas the native speakers enjoy the best treatment, e.g. free upgrades, service and drinks options. If the hotel has such a policy, just make it public - “for natives only” and it would be fair then. - when I politely asked one waiter why such hostility towards foreign guests, his reply literally was “they (foreigners) make money from us, we don’t own anything…”perhaps, referring to the big chains like Hilton…but why it is the fault of guests who paid honest money, big money for the experience, is beyond me - all sun beds are occupied from 7 am until late in the afternoon, as people just leave towels and then do not show up. We brought it to the attention of the staff a couple of times only to hear “my friend will come”…and, of course, no one cares a tiny bit. This is not a Hilton standard, not even a DoubleTree by Hilton and not close to 5-stars. 3-stars at most and only if you are a local. Otherwise, stay away at any cost

A big disappointment, I chose this resort thinking it was a Hilton hotel but it only has the name Double Tree Hilton, it is actually not a Hilton, it has a lot of minuses, as soon as you enter the hotel you realize that it is a big mess after the dirt that is everywhere, the rooms are very small considering that we took the king deluxe room, in the 10 days we stayed our bed was not changed once, the minibar was very poor (1 flat water, 1 mineral water, 1 cola, 1 fanta) which was only refilled once in 10 days, the bathroom was leaking water from the ceiling, the toilet was always a puddle around it, the restaurant looks like a cafeteria, very few tables we had to wait for others to get up, the food is repeated almost daily, only fruits are apples, pears, watermelons (I never saw bananas), the armchairs in the lobby were disgusting to sit on because of how dirty they are, the hallways were dirty , there is no air conditioning in the lobby, it is so hot that it takes your breath away, the beach is very small, 50 sun loungers that were always occupied with towels but most of them were not used, the beach towels look terrible, the only plus is the staff at the bars and the drinks, this resort is not worth its money, the manager is arrogant and instead of solving the problems of the customers he takes his own life and leaves, I really don't understand how this resort has 5*, more than 3* it doesn't deserve it. I regret a lot that I paid so much for this resort, I have been to many Hilton hotels where luxury is at home and I didn't pay so much. I hope that Hilton takes their name off this hotel because it is a laughing stock

Beautiful hotel with lovely views! The staff were really lovely particularly Khalil and Momo. There’s plenty of food and entertainment to choose from.

hotel well situated in small bay,narrow beach,lots of trees nice gardens very attractive and wellcoming . rooms not super lux but very clean and well serviced all seem to have small balcony which is nice to sit out. Food is first class lots of choice vegies looked after,large terrace to eat outside . I found the staff well trained and helpfull, we have been 2 years now and see the same faces, a good sighn . the hotel has a super large pool but beware it is deeper than usual , last the drinks are good quality . I would like to make a special mention to Eda Biceroglu who arranged a cancellation and refund when my friend had to return to istanbull with a medical emergency,thank you Eda . tim w

We had such a great time here for our family reunion, 15 of us in total, ranging from teenagers to seniors. The whole experience was really smooth. The food was delicious, everything was clean, and the overall vibe of the place was relaxed and charming. It’s not one of those huge, flashy resorts, which honestly made it even better as it’s less overwhelming and more comfortable. The beach was a highlight was the sandy, super chill, and great for snorkeling. We even saw some fish! Every staff member we met was kind and helpful, and I have to give a special shoutout to Yaqub from guest relations. He was amazing, so patient with our big group, made sure all our room arrangements went smoothly, and handled everything with a smile. Truly an asset to the hotel. We’re genuinely sad to be leaving and would definitely come back again! K

I stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton Bodrum Isil Club for a week, and it was honestly one of the best holiday experiences I’ve ever had. The beach and the sea are incredibly clean and peaceful — ideal for both swimming and relaxing. The food was absolutely delicious, with a wide range of options and excellent quality. I also want to highlight the à la carte restaurants Skorpina and Poco — both had outstanding chefs who made our dining experience truly memorable. One of the biggest highlights of our stay was the staff. Everyone was kind and professional, but I especially want to mention Yassine from the animation team. Every morning started with a peaceful and energizing yoga session led by him, and throughout the day, he kept checking in to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. He’s incredibly friendly, skilled, and genuinely cares about the guests’ happiness. He truly made our stay extra special. Another plus is that this resort is very baby-friendly — families with small children will feel completely comfortable and well taken care of. I’m already planning to come back next year — and without a doubt, I’ll choose Hilton again. Highly recommended for families, couples, or anyone looking for a relaxing yet fun holiday!

The best hotel in Bodrum. I really liked the entertainment program. Especially many thanks to Yassin for the fact that there were always many interesting events with his participation. The entire animation team will forever remain in my heart. I also want to note the clean rooms, delicious food, great and nice bartenders and their chic cocktails

My wife and I stayed five nights at this ultra all-inclusive hotel. Although the official check-in time is 3 PM, the hotel kindly allowed us to check in 12 hours earlier at 3 AM, as we had arrived from abroad. We’re truly grateful for this flexibility – thank you! Thanks to our Hilton membership, we received a complimentary room upgrade. The room was clean and comfortable. A nice touch: the balcony door had a mosquito screen, which kept insects out. Our room was cleaned daily by Mr. Malik, and we’d like to sincerely thank him for his excellent and thorough work. At the restaurant, we met Ms. Sevval Yilmaz. She greeted us with a warm smile every time and made sure all our needs were met. Because of her kind and genuine approach, we felt as if we were visiting close friends. Ms. Yilmaz is highly professional, quick, and passionate about her job – truly a role model in hospitality. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were varied and delicious. Down by the pool, there’s also a snack bar open until 3 AM – the food there was also great. At the bar, Mr. Umut Dalman and Mr. Cankan Aydin served us delicious cocktails. We were impressed by their speed and creativity. One special moment: my wife saw another guest drinking a cocktail she wanted to try but didn’t know the name. Restaurant manager Mr. Ali Temel had a photo of the cocktail taken and personally checked at every bar to identify it. Eventually, the cocktail was made just for her. Mr. Temel – because of your dedication, moments like this will stay in our memories. Activities: Billiards, table tennis, archery, water volleyball, beach volleyball, and dancing. Mr. Yaseen is an expert and leads the activities with great passion. It was a pleasure to meet him. Suggestions for improvement: – A juice bar offering freshly squeezed juices of your choice – At the beach volleyball area, it should be possible to water the sand using a hose. Currently, it’s done with a bucket of seawater, which is ineffective. We’d be happy if our feedback is shared with the mentioned staff members. Value for money: EXCELLENT! DoubleTree by Hilton delivered on its promise. We truly felt appreciated as Hilton members – and we’ll definitely return!
