Hotel Rumbao, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Me gusta siempre tener claro los accesos de emergencia y sus escaleras estaban un poco confusas para salir. Pero es una manía mía porque me dan miedo los ascensores.

We stayed here for 2 nights and the staff was amazing. The rooms are spacious and incredibly clean. Each staff member we encountered was kind, patient, knowledgeable, helpful and genuinely friendly. We received fabulous food recs for local spots. We actually made the choice to drive for 2 hours back to this hotel later in the week when we cut our stay short at another hotel because it was a mess (that’s a different review lol) We were welcomed back with a smile and again they took excellent care of us. This will be our hotel moving forward when in PR. I’d rather day trip to the other side of the island and come back. Truly great hotel Location is fabulous and ….wait for it… THEY HAVE PARKING! If you’ve been to VSJ You know this is a HUGE deal.

Amazing experience, very clean and friendly staff!

The site of Hotel Rumbao, a recently renovated hotel, has been my home away from home for many years prior to the recent name change. It is ideally located in Old San Juan; walking distance to many historical sites, restaurants, shopping, souvenir stores, entertainment, and public transportation to many places in San Juan and neighboring municipalities. The area also offers many scheduled tours to explore the island. The staff at Hotel Rumbao is welcoming, friendly, helpful, very kind and accommodating. Issues, however small, are addressed ASAP. They make every effort to see to it that your stay is comfortable and memorable. I would undoubtedly recommend Hotel Rumbao as a place to stay during your time in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Nice rooms, great facilities (rooftop pool, gym), good restaurant (Kueros), although service can be a bit slow if there are many people. Location is great.
