Wonderful hotel with incredibly helpful, and attentive staff. The view from our room was breathtaking. Beautiful sunny skies with the San Juan Bay as the background. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Quiet during the night, and close enough to walk anywhere in the old city. Big shoutout to Josephine P. For being an absolute delight to work with. She got us situated and taken care of very quickly. Very friendly, warm, and approachable. She made our experience that much more enjoyable. Not my first time staying at this hotel, and certainly not the last. Already looking forward to my next stay.

My experience in Rumbao was 20/10. Starting with my late check in, Sarah received me with such kindness, calmness and patience, just what I needed after a long flight. I extended my stay one more night and Carlos was exceptional and inviting. He gave me recommendations for sunset and treated me with the most genuine personality. Josephine, Hector from Breakfast and valet parking were also professional and accommodating with my requests. Definitely one of the best hotel experiences staying in San Juan. Hotel was very cleaned and smelled very nice. Will be coming back!

Espectacular vista y ubicación frente al mar. Habitaciones super grandes y cómodas. Teníamos vista al jardín pero nos cambiaron a vista parcial al mar, muy bonito. Hemos dormido muy bien. Es calidad Marriott. Tiene un Wallgreens justo abajo, y muchos restaurantes y tiendas caminando muy cerca. Nos asignaron 21 dólares por habitación para consumir en el restaurante, lo aprovechamos en Kueros para un drink. Muy buen buffet de desayuno, lo teníamos incluido y estaba súper variado.

No hay “rumba” en el hotel, el restaurante tenía musica en vivo pero muy corto el tiempo y no era para bailar como nos habían contado. La fruta entera del desayuno estaba verde, tal vez era solo para decoración?

Limpieza de habitaciones deja en esta ocasión mucho que desear. Las sábanas parecía muy poco arreglada y un cambio de habitación que solicité porq tenía 2 habitaciones porq somos una familia y las pusieron extremadamente lejos me la entregaría después de más de 4 horas y múltiples insistencia. Bryan el de desk front solo decía q había q esterar. Pienso q nunca informó Lamentablemente esta ocasión no fue agradable en lo absoluto

I had a problem with my room and wrote a bad review at first but after getting in touch with Ms. JIHAN RIVERA, the Assistant General Manager, I want to thank you again and the wonderful job in resolving my concern about my rewards point and helping me with 2 days in December, I really appreciate the customer service after being a rewards member for 26 years and strictly because of her, I will continue dealing with Marriott. it's people like this which we come to appreciate for doing a great job and not just talking about it. when people go out their way to make your situation right, you have the respect, to give them another chance. From the moment I arrived, Ms. Otero, demonstrated a level of attentiveness and professionalism, that stood out. What impressed me most, was the way she greeted me, and welcomed me to the property. Once I explained my situation, she immediately assured me, she would help me to resolve my issue. This wasn’t just good service, it was proactive personalized, and genuinely caring. I’m 77yrs. “Young”, I arrived at the property, hot, very tired, and frustrated, after many hours of flying. Jorge, another Amazing Team member, even provided, an ice cold bottle of water, while Ms. Otero, worked on my issue. However, because of her efforts, going above and beyond to help me, I felt exceptionally well taken care of, throughout my entire stay. Because she went above and beyond her normal duties, she transformed, what would have been, a standard visit, to a very memorable experience. I normally stay at the Ritz Carleton, but was recommended to stay here, since I was cruising out. I am now your customer for life! Employees like Ms. Otero, are a tremendous asset to your property, and a direct reflection of your hotel’s commitment to excellence. I truly hope, Ms. Otero, receive the recognition she deserves.
