Motel 6 Lugoff, SC

Location is good, hotel is run down and needs a lot of work. The pool was very green but was not closed?? - lots of guests were looking at it but no one would go in it, did not look good - the pool was one of the reasons we chose this hotel. Although the suite type room was neat, the rooms needed a lot of work too, old and just not a pleasant stay. Was clean. Breezeway ceilings leaking everywhere. Staff was pleasant, breakfast was ok.

This hotel is very disappointing in many respects - room is fairly clean but outdated, had to get my key card updated 5 times as it kept locking me out. Breakfast is terrible. Front desk is unattended alot. I will not stay here again.

What can I say? It was an affordable and decent hotel in Lugoff (West Camden) my husband and I stayed here for two nights. The hotel was quiet, hospitable and had a standard continental breakfast. Overall; I would say it is quite an average hotel. There was nothing special that set it apart from the other hotels in the area and I do not see why we would not stay there again should our travels take us to that area.

Comforter had burns through, cigarette ash on ac unit. Smelled of smoke, and room was a non smoking room. Won't stay again.

The hotel is older but well maintained. The hotel staff was friendly, the room was clean and the bed comfortable. Overall I felt this hotel was a good value for the price and I would stay there again.

Overall I found the hotel to be worth what we paid for it, which wasn't much. The beds were fairly comfortable, the room was clean of any dirt, bugs, etc., but the bathtub was gross. However, it is in a great location close to the race course!

Excellent choice as dog-friendly hotel with close proximity to Camden, SC. Also, dog fee is extremely reasonable and per stay, not per night.

Like a Holiday Inn Express the beds were like rock slabs. I thought the person in charge was doing us a favor by putting us in a different part of the hotel away from a couple of bus loads of kids but after finding out that the air conditioner in the room did not work correctly, the key cards did not work correctly, etc I began to doubt if it was really niceness or not.

First night aweful! Tthe room was smelly of smoke, bedspread with what apperaed to be dried blood. Changed rooms for the second night, much better.

We were in this hotel for a short night stay off the highway. For a budget, it provided the relief we needed from driving. The bed was well made and the sheets and blankets were clean. However, the toilet was small and the shower could use a little plumbing. A full southern breakfast was very welcome. It seemed the hotel had seen better days. With a little investment, it could really become first class again. I'd recommend it to others.
