Motel 6 Lugoff, SC

Stayed here a Fri and Sat night for an event about 14 miles north, for the price of the hotel I was impressed with the hotel overall. I'd definitely stay here again.

I mean.. What do you expect for this type of hotel? Be honest... Your expectations are pretty low before you ever check in. So I was surprised when I was met with a very nice man that was friendly and very helpful in giving me directions and suggestions on local eats. The room was clean and everything worked. That was also a nice surprise considering my room rate. The breakfast was just as bad as expected, so no surprises there. Overall I was happy with the room and rate that I paid. Sure... It's not a brand new Courtyard or Westin, but you also didn't have to pay for that flat screen in the room rate. I would stay here again!

It was pleasant not noisey great place for peace and quietness

The motel smelled musty. The mattresses were awful and the bathroom, Oh, Please. The only thing worth talking about might be the breakfast. Not so bad. Sure did expect more for the price I paid. Donna in South Carolina

It was not at all what i expected! The room smelled like smoke and it was a non smoking room! The bathroom shower was not working well and the water was stopping up in the tub. And the fridge didnt get cold! And then when i went to go check out the clerk over charged me an extra night. Sooo I guess you get what you pay for, I think next time i'll just pay a little extra for a nicer place!

The beds were not comfortable. Satisfactory for cleanleness at best. The breakfast looked like it was decent, but it must be first come first serve. Both mornings there were not more than scraps left to eat. For the price I did not expect perfection, but would have liked to have been able to say it was atleast good. Do not see us staying again.

The bed and pillows were wonderful. My room was clean and staff were pleasant. The continental breakfast was not "deluxe" but it was O.K.

When we pulled up to the Hotel is was not what we expected. I thought it was new because there were no pictures. The rooms smelled, and we had non smoking rooms. Our heat lamp did not work, I called to let them know, but no one came to fix it. The in-room blow drier also did not work. We stayed 2 nights and when we came back after being out all day we opened our door and the room was not cleaned. We didn't have the do not disturb sign up either. They did bring us new towels. It was an average price for very poor quality. If we wanted to stay at a place like this we would have stayed at the cheap motels.

If you just need a place to sleep that is relatively close to everything, it is a better than average selection. The only down side is that noise travel too well. I awoke in the morning to the sound of guest talking outside in the courtyard. But, hey, the price is right.
