SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Mammoth Lakes

It was close to the bus stop and restaurants. I was able to park the car in a covered garage and take the bus to the mountain.

Parking garage was tight. Breakfast was good, but the toaster did not work. Bathroom floor in room 211 needs to be repaired or replaced as planks are loose and sticking up. Power outlet and USB ports near the bed do not work.

We loved everything about the property!! Free, covered parking is a huge bonus and the free breakfast is perfect for before a long ski day. The jacuzzi was always nice and warm, super clean, and never had anyone in it! Couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience, especially for the price.

The mammoth bus system is really inaccurate and was almost always at capacity in the morning (and would just drive past) so we had to walk up to the village. It’s about 20 minutes and luckily not too bad of an incline, but not super fun with a bunch of ski gear. Absolutely not a knock on the hotel itself!!

Nice breakfast, room is not huge but okay, good customer service.

The hotel reserved only 1 bed room even though specifically booked a 2 bed room and also contacted the hotel regarding arrival with another person, which led to a confusion during check-in. However, this was solved and we got 2 separate rooms (because other options were not available) with no extra cost, so the managing was great.

The bears in the parking lot going through trash cans gives a real mountain like feeling.

No front desk staff had to talk to a person on the computer screen.
