Crowne Plaza Princeton – Conference Center by IHG – Review I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Princeton – Conference Center by IHG in November 2025. This is a hulk of a hotel located large-scale property with roughly 60,000 square feet of space set across 27 wooded acres. Its size and layout clearly reflect its primary role as a conference and events hotel. The rooms were very generously sized and comfortable, with plenty of space to relax. From a purely practical standpoint, the accommodation does its job well and would suit business travelers or short stays. Breakfast, however, was well below average. The buffet—both hot and cold—was limited and uninspiring, falling short of what you would expect at this level. We did not have dinner at the hotel, so cannot comment on the evening dining options. The hotel markets itself as a “resort-like retreat in Princeton,” but that description feels overstated. While the property does include a pool and a fitness center—which looked good—we didn’t use them, and overall the atmosphere lacks the character and service typically associated with a resort. Location-wise, it’s a short and easy drive to Princeton University and the vibrant downtown area, which is a definite positive. That said, despite the wooded setting and ample space, the hotel feels somewhat soulless. Overall, a comfortable and convenient base within driving distance of Princeton, but best viewed as a functional conference hotel rather than a resort or destination stay.

We really liked it. It’s clean and cozy. It would be great if they provided slippers. You’ll need to ask for toothbrushes and toothpaste at the front desk.

The General Manager Jennifer and Staff are so very friendly and helpful. I arrived earlier than expected and I was able to check in nearly two hours before check in. I was upgraded to a two room suite for the price of my original reservation which was amazing, the room so very clean and warms easily. Plenty of furniture and storage for your items as well as desks in both rooms.It had a kitchen with cabinets for extra storage and a deep well sink for extended stay customers with dishes and such. This property has huge spaces as well as a restaurant for breakfast snd grill for dinner. They have a martini bar lounge for unwinding. With also a billiards table though with only one stick for playing. The pool is very warm and cozy. They have locker rooms on the second floor with showers and soap shampoo and conditioner provided. They have a basketball court ,squash and racquetball court .They have a running trail that circles the entire property. If you cross the hall through the conference center tunnel you have plenty of rooms to explore and areas to walk or jog indoors if being outside isn't your thing persay.All in all this property is massive compared to modern crammed hotels. I truly enjoyed my stay and will use this hotel again many more times.

The tennis ball and basketballs needed air as they were nearly flat but this is my only complaint, this is a gem of a hotel and truly feels like home when away from home.
