NH Bingen

First of all the parking situation for the night was very easy. The lots spans the entire length of the hotel. It is free for the night. The young staff member who checked me in was very friendly, kind and efficient. I always try speaking German wherever I go but his English was so good it was impressive. We arrived late and were tired but he was very quick and we were in the room with very little delay. The assortment of sundries in the lobby was key as my daughter forgot her toothbrush so it was great that they had a variety of necessities there for just such a case. Our room faced the road but it was very quiet. It was a quirky flashback to the past and we loved it. The headboard was so awesome! It was clean and there was ample space for our things. The bed was comfortable and there were lots of pillows. Even though the hotel is obviously older it didn't hold any overpowering smells of bygone cigarette smoke or mildew. The bathroom was clean and the water was hot.

The room was a little warm and leaving the window open was not an option as the bugs were coming inside but it wasn't terrible. It was about 26C the day we checked in. The shower head in the tub/shower combo wouldn't stay forward no matter which way you twisted the hose attached to it but that was minor.

Das Hotelpersonal war wieder sehr nett. Die Lage vom Hotel ist Zentral, verkehrsgünstig gelegen und direkt am Rhein. Das Frühstück war wie immer sehr gut!

Das Zimmer war dieses Mal nicht gut; das Waschbecken war defekt, die Gardine grau und der Balkon lange nicht gereinigt.

Das Bad benötigt dringend eine Renovierung‘ sonst ist es völlig in Ordnung, wenn auch schon in die Jahre gekommen bei der Ausstattung

Das Personal ist extrem nett, obwohl ich erst in der Nacht angereist war. Es gibt dort sogar Zahnbürsten, weil ich meine vergessen hatte. Unglaublich netter Service und das Hotel insgesamt sauber, die Zimmer groß und bequem, Schreiben mit persönlicher Ansprache auf dem Zimmer, kostenloses Wasser - man kann sich kaum etwas Besseres und Angenehmeres vorstellen. Absolute Spitzenklasse!

Das einzige, was man überhaupt optimieren könnte, wäre beim Frühstück eine zweite Kaffeemaschine zur Vermeidung langer Schlangen. Ansonsten absolut nichts zu kritisieren

Die gute Lage.

Riesen Hotel ohne Gastronomie? Man kann dort schlafen, aber zum Essen muß man in die Stadt gehen? Frühstück für 21.- Euro finde ich unverschämt.

Die Zimmer, besonders die Badezimmer müssten renoviert werden.

Das Bad ist uralt. Waschbecken mit Krater, Dusche aus den 60-gern. Tür schließt nur mit Androhung von Gewalt. Das geht für den verlangten Preis gar nicht!
