An extended weekend and thought this pace would “do”. First room...we went to the office after no internet access, no towels, and killing a roach. Moved to the opposite side, was better. But the maid never showed up...

If you been to a place before and had a bad time and afraid to go back again. I've been here before and it was HELL! But after seeing some latest reviews about a new "OWNER & RENOVATION", I thought why not give it a shot. I was shocked of the genuine review of the community and it was just as they stated. This place have changed from top to bottom. I have met with the new GM and he said they are not playing cheap anymore and I can see that. They are doing renovations in phases and its looking great. For the price and product, they got my loyalty back again!!!!

Used to come here back in the day and it was just a below-average, cheap motel. I came back now and it feels like a brand new place!!! Apparently there’s a new owner now who has renovated everything. It’s super clean and brand new and the breakfast was pretty good! People at the front desk were very nice. Would definitely recommend

I ve been coming here for past year and see lots of change externally and internally. The rooms are great and renovated. It’s under a new management. The value for the price is great. Will come again.

We drove down from New York and stayed here for my niece's graduation at UMES. Got there two hours before check in time and were a really tight time crunch, We looked/felt really disheveled after drive for almost 5 hours, AND ON TOP OF THAT had to clean uo to attend my nieces' graduation. We explained out situation and requested the Manager to let us check in early so we can be on time. He was very friendly and accommodating and let us check - in early. The Room was cheap, very clean, and other staff was friendly as well. Highly recommend staying here.

I have approximately 10,000 followers on Trip Advisor. I have received supportive comments from people who read them, and I have NEVER had a problem with the integrity of what I have written. My previous review was deleted, but it merely echoed many of the reviews up here. The hotel responded/rebutted most of these, but frankly all of us can't be wrong. The rooms are dirty, the "ammenities" do not work properly (such as the room phone and fridge). When we called the manager and asked for a refund we were refused but were offered a different room, which we took. That room was no better, and there were no linens on the bed. I would sleep in my car first.

We took a family trip from Germantown to Ocean City MD. It was last minute and hotels near Ocean City were sold out. So we looked outsode the area. For an affordable room we saw this hotel and please don't let the pictures fool you. We checked into the room the door looked like it had been scraped and punched in. No bed spreads or proper bedding. No alarm clock no clean floor, refrigerator hadn't been cleaned. There were bugs and ants in the room. Not enough towels for our family as specified on the reservation. A huge blood or some red looking stain on a rug that was in the bathroom. It was just ridiculous. There were no other hotels around so we stayed and upon check out we let the front desk know of our complaints and we recieved no apology no nothing. Do not waste your money on this place if your looking for a minimally nice place and affordable for you or your family. Even being a 2 star hotel I would expect much more than this. Will be attempting to reach the manager for a refund and will not return to this hotel.
