The Alpenhof

My friends and I stayed at 6 different hotels during our trip across Montana, Wyoming and Idaho. Alpenhof was great and made a lasting impression: quiet, clean, big comfortable rooms equipped with everything we needed, close to everything, and the staff was very helpful. I already recommended it to friends and family and I'll go back if I'm ever in the area again.

The resterant and bar were not open. Elevator needs upgraded.

Room and area were nice. The hotels in this area are very pricey. We would still return to stay in the area in the future.

In no specific order, listing these issues hoping the property will address them for the next guests. BTW, we stayed at their best room. 1. Hair dryer was not working. 2. Room did not have sufficient lighting 3. Power outlet was only on one side of the bed. Either I or wife can change phone at night. 4. Mini fridge was on the floor, door was catching on carpet when open/close. And it smells bad. I had to wipe it clean. 5. Curtain rods were dirty. Black color came off when I wiped them. 6. When it rained, water leaked from ceiling into my suitcase and damaged my clean clothes.

We had 2 rooms and they were very nice rooms. We had a nice balcony that we could have enjoyed more but the hotel only supply's 1 chair per room. The weather was nice and the door to the balcony had a screen door which was great to let in the cool mountain air for one room. The other room the screen was broken and not usable. the elevator did not start at the lobby, so we did have to carry luggage up first flight of stairs. When we check in a young lady helped us which was great (friendly staff). All in all we really enjoyed the hotel and surrounding area.

This property needs a serious refurbishment.

Courteous and friendly staff. Extremely helpful with changes that had to be made due to hospital stay. So thankful for their assistance.

The hotel was clean and the staff was responsive. It is an older facility that could use some interior updates.

This hotel is run down and not well-maintained. Was not anywhere worth the price they charge. We will never return and would recommend that other travelers find a better choice.

While the property is a bit dated, it is clean, safe, and conveniently located near the Tetons and Jackson. Highly recommend a stay here for the price. I would stay here again.
