It was my first time in Turks and Caicos and it really had all the features you would want when you travel to an island like that extremely impressive beach some of the clearest water I’ve ever seen. In addition, the staff went above and beyond every single time every interaction with them fun friendly, extremely accommodating will absolutely be returning. Cannot wait to come back. Having the kitchenette and being able to whip up some breakfast on the fly is also a blessing.

The location is nicely placed near a majority of tourist attractions, but the resort doesnt have any other options for eating except for the Pelican lounge. The bar is mostly backed up and the front desk line was always busy to call them for assistance. The rooms are spacious and roomy , but hot as hell ! The a/c doesnt properly work in the rooms as i was sweating just within my room sitting down. Nice for a quick trip but not for elongated stay.
We were extremely disappointed with our experience at Royal West Indies during Hurricane Erin. While we understand that weather events are out of anyone’s control, the way the resort handled the situation was unacceptable. Our flight was cancelled, and we were forced to stay additional days, but instead of being accommodating or showing any compassion, the resort charged us an outrageous amount of money for extra nights. Unfortunately, in the MIDDLE of a hurricane, we had to pack our bags, pack a lot of money for a taxi, and stay at a different resort that was a lot more accommodating and overall compassionate with our situation. At a time when guests were stressed, stranded, and looking for support, the staff seemed more focused on maximizing profit than on helping their customers. A reputable resort should prioritize guest safety and well-being, especially during a natural disaster, but unfortunately, that was not the case here. This experience left a very negative impression, and we would not recommend Royal West Indies to anyone looking for a resort that values its guests. There are many other places in Turks and Caicos that treat travelers with more fairness and empathy.

We loved our stay! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The resort's garden and pool were beautiful and very well maintained. Our room was clean and comfortable—everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The only downside was the soap and shampoo provided, so we recommend bringing your own. The on-site restaurant was pretty good, and the beach was absolutely beautiful. We especially loved that the tours we booked picked us up right at the beach—super convenient! Plus, there are really good restaurants within walking distance. We would 100% recommend this place!
