I had requested a ground floor room as I was assaulted two months ago, due to multiple injuries stairs are very difficult for me. They didn't have a ground floor room of what I had reserved available when I arrived but when I mentioned my trouble with stairs, the staff member gave me a free upgrade to a double room with a kitchenette, which ended up being really lovely as I was able to use the sink/stove since this was supposed to be a camping trip. However, the first night in Merritt BC a windstorm took down and broke my brand new tent. I had a cooler of food to prepare and eat. So having a fridge, freezer and stove for the evening was wonderful. I thought I was just gonna find some place nearby to go eat. It was great that I didn't have to spend more money that I wasn't counting on spending with the room and dining out.

It looks like someone had spilled coffee on the kitchen floor and there were crumbs all over the floor as well. Perhaps it wasn't fully cleaned before I was offered the room. I didn't complain as I just rolled into town to sleep and carry on with my long road trip the following morning.

Breakfast as mediocre. The breakfast room, especially the fridges, were in desperate need of a good cleaning.

The cleanliness was dreadful. Our room had so many deficiencies, including a bathroom door that wouldn’t close, tub faucet ran continually, the room stunk of stale cigarette smoke, and the bottom of the top drawer of one nightstands was missing. The staff promised a discount, but it has never been received.

A friend got me the room and I was very surprised with the cleanliness of the room and property. Coffee was great. Enjoyed my time and stay.

It was a clean, economical place to stay for a one night stop over. The room itself was large and clean, but dark. Breakfast was decent but had limited choice. The exterior of the property could use some love. Overall it worked for our needs.

Very clean,spacious room but the walls are not very soundproof. We were woken up at 5 am to loud talking,laughing

The only good thing about this place is the bedding was clean.

The room was non-smoking, but stunk terribly of smoke. The bathroom door wouldn’t shut. The tub faucet ran continuously. The breakfast room needed a deep cleaning; the inside of the fridge with the milk and creamer hadn’t been cleaned in ages; dried on, spilled milk. No closet in our room, and the top drawer of the bedside table had no bottom. How does that happen?! I was promised a discount on the room but it was never received. And the price on Booking.com was much higher than the hotel’s website. Buyer beware !!

Room 111 - The mattress casing has a gross large stain, blood and other body fluids. There was mold all over the bathroom shower stall ceiling, the door lock didn't secure or was able to fully lock, the rack in the full size fridge freezer is rusted, the knobs were missing from the stove, the towels had stains, the toilet tank lid didn't fit that toilet - too small, there was very little toilet paper, the electrical in the room is dangerous in several areas including at the head of one bed, the smoke detector doesn't work properly, the curtain on the window by the two sinks was tacked in place, dishes were broken, parking was challenging, breakfast area was dirty, the hot food was air fryer cooked, prepackaged stuff, the carpet wasn't installed correctly and had a big roll sticking up where it met the tile, several holes in the drywall the size of a nickel,
