Bugs and stains on bed, peeling wall paper with mold stains. Bad smell in room. We could not stay at this property.

Friday afternoon check in... We did not have reservation but the young lady told us we could check in earlier if we signed up for rewards card, so we did . She was nice but not very personable. Our room was very clean, did not smell but definitely out of date. The sheers were ripped and the plastic cover on heater was broke. Bed was very firm but I like it that way. The second knight however the base to my bed was noisey when I moved. We had to unplug the refrigerator because it had a very loud ticking noise. Saturday... continental breakfast was included . I went to dining area about 8am for coffee . 1st pot was colored water, not exaggerating lighter than tea, the second pot was ok. I realized there was no creamer ( except powder , yuck ) there was also no milk. I asked but was told they were out and owner was bringing. The juice was watered down as well. My mom came in for food and there was only 1 biscuit for the pot of sausage gravy. Other table told her eggs were tough not to bother. There was a waffle maker , only a couple pieces of bread for toast and a couple bagles. Another family came in with children that wanted cereal but again no milk so they settled for instant oatmeal. The dad took it apon himself to go grab the bread package from kitchen for the 3 pieces to toast . At this point almost everything was gone . Not sure about waffle mix as I don't eat those. No muffins, yogurt or fruit choices ( just a couple apples) . We went back to room for about 1 and 1/2 hours went back down for coffee but owner still had not arrived with milk or cream. Talked to girl at desk , she apologized and told me there was no excuse for it. In the afternoon when we returned I asked the new worker if they would have milk and she said yes . Sunday... They had milk but no liquid creamer and coffee was better. Added a few apples, bananas, mini blueberry muffins and small yogurts. There were eggs and sausage, bread, bagels and waffles. No biscuit or gravy.

It was a good location, you could tell they are remodeling, outside didn't look fabulous, but first floor inside looked nice.

When we arrived we were never told there was no hot water. My wife has terminal cancer and has to have a way to get warm. We found a press on fingernail on our floor in the room. The remote to the television barely worked, had to press buttons extremely hard to use it. When it came to breakfast there was no milk, the manager was notified and nothing was done, acted like she didn't care, that it was an inconvenience. We tried to get at least a partial refund, but we were told that since we went through booking.com, we had to go through them. I was not happy with my experience and would like a refund, I'm not asking for a full refund but some is warranted in my opinion.

Nice and clean

We have stayed at this property before and chose it because we were traveling with pets. Love that it’s right off the highway and has a restaurant within walking distance. We love the murals in each of the rooms and the bed was super comfy. Our pets were peaceful there and enjoyed their stay as well. The staff was accommodating and the breakfast adequate.

It took a while for the hot water to be ready in the shower and the light over the bathroom sink didn’t work.

The rooms were very clean and the bed was very comfortable. They had a LOT of breakfast selections; i.e., waffles, biscuits and gravy, cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt, bagels, donuts. Plus the TV inputs are accessible and we were able to take our Roku streamer and use it in the room which was a big plus for me. The place is pet friendly if you're willing to pay $25 extra every night. Also, there is a refrigerator in the rooms.

There wasn't anything about SureStay Plus that I didn't like.

Nice size TV great mattress and pillows

I got to breakfast 20 mins before it closed. There were sausages and plenty of yogurt left. Variety of cereals. Very good coffee.

Just a few spoonfuls of dried scrambled eggs and some watery oatmeal left. I would have liked to seen some fresh fruit.

Breakfast, while not gourmet, was quite good. I liked the fact that the biscuits were individually wrapped. Food area was very clean and orderly. Good value breakfast. Location of hotel for my purpose was excellent. Easy off and on to the highway to go to Louisville, my destination for the weekend. A nice bar and grill within easy walking distance of the hotel. The food was very reasonably priced and a good selection. Beds were very comfortable to me and the pillows were perfect. Not so soft that your head gets no support. Plenty of towels in bathroom. Good hot water.

One item that could use work. There was some mold around the edges of the bathtub in the wall tiles. An application of spray bleach, allowing it to set for a while before rinsing off would kill the mold. That is the only thing I could find that took away from a nice value minded hotel.
