"Check your room before trying to check in."

Breakfast was good The area around was beautiful Parking was easy Pool was clean

The front desk boy didn't know what he was doing. Check in took 2 hours They promised refund did not happen They closed the elevator down to replace floor didn't tell us. We had mobility scooter and dog Theres no hot water for showers No manager. No way to contact a manager according to front desk.

Jacob was very helpful when I had to change rooms because of noisy temporary air conditioning

Just lots of weird noise. Elevators was put at one point with no signage explaining. Weird whistling of air conditioner. Back door to property never locked. No ice machine. Ice in fridge not on for arrival. Old fashioned showers.

We liked the location of the hotel. It is a short drive to Isle of Palms beach, Ft. Sumpter, historic Mt. Pleasant and historic Charleston. Target is right next door as well as small shops and coffee shops. There is a walking path around the lake near the condos next door . The courtyard by the pool is shaded. The hotel and our room were clean and the staff , very helpful, friendly and efficient. We had a few minor issues but management quickly fixed our concerns. The hot breakfast and the managers Wednesday night reception were a huge plus. The main parking lot is small but there is additional parking next door the hotel uses.

"Mold everywhere"

Absolutely ruined our entire trip. We checked in. Went to our room, started getting settled and getting our kids down. Noticed a ton of mold on the ceilings. Asked for a new room, and it had mold all over too. Went to the next room, it also had mold. Asked for a refund and was told that would have to be done with Hilton not the homewood suites. Looks great from outside. Theyโ€™re supposedly about to finish their grand reopening and itโ€™s still this infested is worrisome. Oh, to top it all off, even with these struggles, werenโ€™t offered any reimbursements.

I reserved a room for four nights five days for my sons baseball tournament. My AC stopped working, I reported it to the front desk and she said I have nothing to change you to Iโ€™m full. I asked for the manager and they said Monday. I emailed Monday and by Thursday the response I got was โ€œ you booked thru Expedia, thereโ€™s nothing we can doโ€ I was shocked because even though I understand the 3rd party policy, My AC stopped working at their facility in room 102. Not in Expediaโ€™s hotel itโ€™s a Hilton hotel brand. I am highly disappointed on the managementโ€™s response and actions. Nothing was done about it. Zero Stars terrible customer service.
