Hampton Inn Perry

This is the worst hotel ever. First room we were given was full of mold. Even when the staff came back with us they had to cover their face due to smell. 2nd room not much better Staff in responsive on any concerns If fact they weren’t even around for over an hr with a back in 5 min sign Security door lock broken. Toilet cracked fridge not cold and humming We finically unplugged it Chair broken and awful stains over it. On checkout when there was finally someone at the desk reply was she only works here. Gave us an email that we emailed answered after a year with sorry for your inconvenience. I was charged $281.39for this room. We are Hampton award members. Never again

It was way over priced considering the condition of the place. The shower had mold in the corners, the wall of the shower had been thrown up over the existing wall. We were given the very last room at the end of the hall on the 2nd floor which was noisy.

Breakfast and location was desent.

It rained while were staying. All the doors on the back side of the hotel were leaking, towels were placed on the inside bottom of the doors. One of our guest tripped over the towel when entering the building and fell. No warning signs were present. The next morning as we were walking down the hall large pieces of plaster was falling from the ceiling due to large leaks. The dining area also had a leak on one side of the room. The floor was drench with water and furniture was soaking wet. The one elevator is very small and slow. Only two people can ride with the luggage cart. We booked for 4 guest, the restroom contained 2 towels and 2 wash clothes.

The hotel is in need of refurbishment. Dingy, dirty, baseboard coming off in 2 floor hall. Bug walked across nightstand right by my head. Looked like someone had laid something on bed. No ice machine on second floor even though we were told there was and place for it marked.

Breakfast was standard hotel breakfast. I just don't care for it and there aren't options for those who are on strict diet plans.

Parking was limited or sketchy (a female traveling alone). overall it was an ok place.

Asthma Issues - Do NOT Stay here! Musty and Moldy Rooms - I wish someone would have warned us as me and my daughter have asthma and I’m allergic to mold. This is not up to Hilton standards, so keep driving or find another Hilton/Hampton Inn. Important!!!! Do not stay here if you have any respiratory or breathing issues or allergic to mold.

First room smelled like wet dog, moved us to new room. There were a lot of dogs here. Allergies really bad this morning. Ice machine out of order. Bed pillows very thin. Disappointed in this hotel, especially for the price we paid. This hotel is showing it's age, could use an update. Hampton Inn's lately have been disappointing.

This is an older hotel but very clean and cared for. Staff here were very friendly and accommodating. Especially appreciated the woman in the kitchen, who went out of her way to be helpful to us. Easy on and off of I75 and plenty of restaurants nearby.

Older hotel, but clean and great service! Great breakfast! Room was comfortable and charming. Service desk was friendly! Location was good, right off the highway. Lots of restaurants close with a variety!
