Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Grand Rapids-North by IHG

It was clean

Room right next door had a loud tv. Called front desk and they called the room. It did not change. Went to front desk and they went with me to the room. The tv could be heard down the hall. They would not give another room. No excuse of the hotel being overbooked. Just a No. It was a Sunday night. Left in the middle of the night.

They were able to get me checked in a little early which is a huge help when traveling.

There were food crumbs on the floor under the chair.

We checked in the hotel and they charged the card for the room. The next morning, we purchased breakfast and the assistant manager approached me and said the card didnt work which was surprising. He walked me over to the front desk and recharged the room rate again to that card without telling me or authorization. He bluntly lied to me saying it was for breakfast. I called and left messages for the manager to tell her what happened and no return call. Lastly, i called the IHG guest relations and they hung up on me without resolution. Sad that unprofessional event could happen to others. BE AWARE of this!
