Best Western Savannah Historic District

Location

Too noisy because of the traffic and the late night party goers. Checked in Thursday night. I wasn't told the rate nearly doubled for Friday night. $340/night.for a weekend is not worth it, especially since the entire facility needs to be updated. Shop around, there's better values in the Historic District.

The location was walking distance to the tourist trolley stop and the riverfront. We never had to move our car.

It’s an older property and a little outdated. The room smelled a little but was clean and comfortable.

Neighborhood is sketchy, loud, shouting all night

Well. Knikki. The Night auditor was super special in welcoming me at reception that time of the night. I had a very exceptional experience at a restaurant the night before. Freaked me out. The owner of this restaurant must’ve been intoxicated and mentally disturbed and impaired. He kicked a chair at us Was racist and just a monster. She picked up my spirit with regards to how I felt about American people. Had empathy towards my situation and experience. Just lended me an ear. And very professional but also human. She made me feel human again. Thank you Knikki Keep the momentum going. Sometimes we don’t really understand the next person’s trauma. You made me feel light without knowing me. Just a customer. You made me feel like a person Thank you

The location was convenient to the convention center. The staff was helpful with our issues.

Our room did not have a shower curtain. The bathroom and closet doors did not close. We were awakened the first night to someone trying rto get in to our room, followed by pounding on the door, and then security opening the door while my daughter and I were trying to sleep. They did not record the accurate room and had booked someone else in the room. Instead of calling the room, security opened the door at 1am. While the location was convenient to the convention center, it was also very loud with car racing and people yelling outside.
