Hampton Inn & Suites Outer Banks/Corolla

We found our firtst experience at the hotel to be perfect for our family and far more relaxing than Beach resorts like OC. Price wise it was what you would expect for an beach front hotel during the summer, especially one with daily breakfeast. The staff were kind and helpful and always wore a smile. The pools were never too crowded and the beach had enough room to spread out. It is very well set up for pets and it's convenience store is priced well. It's not a luxury hotel but it is a warm, welcoming, and well kept property. We'll be back next summer for sure.

Hotel did not work for us. Started with a mixup in rooms. I booked partial ocean view because this was anniversary’s trip. Somehow between Bookings and Hotel ended up with Standard Room no view. Well not “no view”,paid $400 night and had view of the hotel roof. Access to pool was an issue because railing going into pool was poorly planned, bottom portion low in the water. Beach access was there, but with mobility issues, the 20+ steps up and down made it inaccessible. We left two days into 4 night booking. Area super crowded, dinner reservations almost impossible. Ate in our room both nights there. May work for some people but total failure for us.

Room mixup. I booked a room with view, ended up with a standard room, no view. Balcony overlooked roof of the property.

Location to the beach, the breakfast was very good and the hotel attendants were friendly and helpful

It is very ran down and needs repairs

I liked the layout and the staff were great.

The hotel needs some TLC, its just been used and abused and hasn't been fixed up in a while.

It was very close to the ocean and everything is provided for an ideal vacation.

Just the cost is expensive, but it is comparable to other places in the area and everything is provided at this location.

The beach is fabulous.
