"Location, location, location…"

This hotel was clean and well maintained, and the staff was exceptionally friendly. It is well situated in a quiet stretch of the coast, about 10 minutes north of busier Duck and 10 south of the shops of Corolla. It is conveniently near several excursions that take you out to see the wild horses. A plus is that it has ready beach access, and from our third floor, ocean view room, we had magnificent views of the sunrise. Ther is only one minus—it takes a long time to get hot water in the shower, but it does eventually arrive.

Love the pool options. The front desk staff were so pleasant. The laundry room was clean and easy to use. LOVE that there was a ceiling fan in our room. The patio was separated by a concrete wall from our neighbors and that felt cozy and private. We were also very pleased with the shower products that were provided as well as hand soap and lotion. Clean ingredients and they smelled so good!

The breakfast wasn’t great but there were plenty of choices.

The location is fantastic. The views were stunning, and the beach was clean and absolutely lovely.

Check-in took about an hour longer than expected, and we noticed that some guests who arrived after us were assisted earlier. I had to follow up at the reception a few times to check on our status. The breakfast selection was quite limited and didn’t fully meet our expectations in terms of quality. We also had some difficulty using the balcony, as there were quite a few mosquitoes, including some inside the room near the ceiling, which made it uncomfortable to keep the door open.

Beautiful. Kinda private but had everything my family and I needed. Loved the beachfront and indoor pool and jacuzzi. Also very pet friendly.
