Great service

I hosted an event for our Martial Arts group here, and also stayed here with my family in conjunction with the event. Our stay was excellent - great price, excellent services, nice rooms, great location, fantastic food. Doug helped me with facilitating the event at their Carlton 2 room and he was very helpful and patient with my requests. Food was excellent, terrific service, and great facilities. Karma hosted myself my wife and 2 year old, and we could not have asked for a better host; super friendly and always taking care of our needs and always going the extra mile. Could not thank them and the whole team enough for a smooth weekend. Will happily host and stay again here next year. Cheers A team!

I had the pleasure of being served by Teills, on her first night on the job as the restaurant supervisor. Your energy and customer focus is an inspiration to anyone in a service industry. Keep up the good work!

If it was half the price it might be ok, but a very sub par experience overall.

Good location for a Palmy conference

The only pillow type was very fluffy and quite firm, which made it uncomfortable when wanting a flatter pillow to sleep with. The staffing level wasn’t adequate to provide good service for a weekend where there were significantly more people there than normal. The room was quite dated (though clean) and considering the high price per night it wasn’t good value for money.

I've stayed a few times and every time there is a problem with the aircon. My room was colder than outside and it's winter in palmy so that is saying something and although I went downstairs twice to talk to reception (the room in my phone was broken) the girl on receiption could not seem to care less. Finally she came up to look at my aircon and saw there was actually an issue but I was overall just a huge inconvenience to her. Really this will be the last time I stay - there are so many other better places including motels in Palmerston North.

The rooms looked tired and in need of an update. Particularly the bathroom. The bed was comfortable but would have expected more from the 'superior' room option. Definitely not worth the money when I compare it to other places I have stayed in NZ.

Bathroom was clean but definitely needed updating. The shower was over the bath and there are no rails. The water pressure was so poor I was unable to wash my hair.
