The Inn at Stone Mountain Park

When I arrived at the Inn it was permanently closed. It had a note on the door to go to another resort. I am very disappointed that I was not made aware of this before I traveled there. This was out of the way for us because we were on a schedule.

Advise people if your Inn is closed do they can get other reservations.

We didn't appreciate the fact that Stone Mountain Inn was closed for business and we were relocated to a sister property. We enjoyed The Evergreen Resort however for convenience sake, it was out of the way of the Village. This is why we are repeat guests at The Inn at Stone Mountain.

Nice facilities, comfortable bed.

So we were supposed to stay at stone mountain inn but when we got there it was closed with sign on the door redirecting us to the Lakeview resort. We had no prior warning about situation and it was latewhen we got to inn and almost 10pm by the time we got to resort. Was not the only one with this situation so lobby was packed with people checking inn. Resort was nice but not super convenient. Didn't offer free breakfast and charged $33 per person so we left and went elsewhere. Would have appreciated some communication letting us know about situation and some compassion from staff.

It was too far to the room from the lobby. We used emergency exits for most of the stay. No other way out that was convenient.

The Inn was closed upon arrival. The Evergreen had our reservation bit didn't find out until making several phone calls. The Evergreen was not helpful in our reservation. I was not able to check in until 10pm. Then the room that was to be reserved was not cleaned! Finally 2 rooms were given but were supposed to connecting but was finally given 2 rooms across the hall from each other. I had tried 2 times to check in and was not able to. It was ridiculous to have waited until10pm!

Look at above and you will see. Also, my phone number was given to the clerk at the front desk to call when our room was ready but NEVER GOT A CALL! ALSO,it was very inconvenient to have to stay at the Evergreen because we specifically rented a room at the Stone Mountain Inn foe convenience to the drone show especially with small children. It would have been nice if someone should have contacted us in advance that our original hotel was closed and our reservation rerouted to the Evergreen!
