Grand Park Royal Puerto Vallarta - All Inclusive

I went from the 22nd to the 25th. i stayed in the Premier King Room on the adult side of the building - one of the highest value rooms you can get as a solo room. i wanted to treat myelf. upon arriving, my room didn't have hand towels or face cloths (i actually didnt get them until my last day there as i was leaving). the TV was broken - i had to have 2 maintenance guys in my room to fix the tv. they got the cable to work, but the tv itself still had a fat black line down the center of it. items of decor in the room were old and broken like the showerhead, the massive wall sized mirror frame, the chair was stained. room service that i ordered was forgotten about and never showed up, two days in a row, even after calling down to check on it. the one time it was just tea! (which doesn't come in the room). I approached concierge to ask where the café sole was and first he said no and gestured to his phone being dead. then he said he didn't speak English and told me to ask someone else. I asked FOUR other staff members and they all pointed me in different directions. there was no way to get food at the hotel if the buffet wasnt open. like I couldn't just get a glass or juice or some fruit. and after closing for lunch, it didnt open again until 630pm for dinner. and finally, the elevators were incredibly slow and dirty, I know this sounds like such a miserable post, but honestly, this was NOT a luxury stay. And it was NOT worth the $1700+ USD that I was charged for my 3 days. this was my first time in Mexico and it was a bummer. the beach was clean.

Our destination wedding at Grand Park Royal Puerto Vallarta was absolutely perfect. We traveled with 40 guests from Las Vegas, California and Boston. Every single person was blown away by the service provided from bar to restaurant. I especially loved the activities offered throughout the day and our daughter absolutely loved the kids area and all the activities offered there. Til this day she talks about her “school at the beach.” A huge thank you to Karla, our wedding coordinator, who made our vision come to life and ensured everything ran flawlessly. She made the entire process stress-free and truly gave us the wedding of our dreams. We were very nervous about planning a wedding via video conference and emails but Karla made everything so perfect. I stand have to do one thing the day of the wedding. Everything was more than perfect. The best wedding we’ve ever attended and we’re so lucky it was ours. We also want to recognize Max, the bell boy, who went above and beyond for us and our guests. He even managed to keep me hidden during the elevator ride before the wedding ceremony so our guests didn’t see me before the walk down the aisle. The resort is beautiful, the food and drinks were excellent, and the staff made us feel welcomed and cared for from start to finish. Choosing this resort for our wedding was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. Lastly, everyone at the resort was amazing. I wish I caught everyone’s name, but here’s a few names I managed to write down… Orisrl Cony Edel

El agua de la alberca está fria

El mar es muy bueno, lamentablemente buena parte del dia tiene sombra y no le da sol a la playa sino hasta casi las 1:00 p.m. y dependiendo de la orientacion del sol. Hay pocos camastros y servicios en la playa para disfrutar de lo mejor que tiene este hotel que es su playa. La comida es regulara nada extraordinario pero debes seleccionar bien que comer.

El mismo hotel genera sobra casi todo el tiempo del dia en la playa, poco se puede disfrutar del sol. El internet es malo, la señal es pobre y la velocidad del mismo muuuuy lento.

We experienced a serious safety incident during our stay that completely ruined our trip. Around 1:00 AM, while my husband, our 4-year-old child, and I were asleep, a stranger forcefully entered our room 303. He refused to leave, behaved aggressively, and physically confronted my husband. Our child was terrified. Police were called, and other guests witnessed the incident. The next morning, the hotel manager told us he reviewed the cameras and confirmed: • The intruder did not use a key card • The door was locked • The incident was caused by a door lock failure We were advised to contact Expedia for a full refund due to the hotel’s security failure. However, after we checked out, the hotel reversed their story and told Expedia that we “did not lock the door,” resulting in a refund denial. This directly contradicts what management told us in person. The lack of safety, the poor handling of the incident, and the hotel’s refusal to take responsibility afterward were extremely disappointing. This is not what travelers expect from a large resort brand. I would not recommend this hotel, especially to families.

La playa muy bonita y el hotel padrizimo

Booking no respeto los niños y tuve que volverlos a pagar cuando llegue al hotel. Pésimo soporte de Booking y su página no funciona adecuadamente ya no registra los niños.
