Location and very comfy bed

Great upgrades to rooms and hotel area since our last visit . Rooms were lovely and clean. We were travelling with an infant and disappointed to be put in a room overlooking the back bar? Grubby work area behind the infinity pool and rooms far from sound proof but pleased that the music dis not go late. Glad to see hotel not smelling like cigarettes and mould throughout this visit . I still wish they would go smoke free. Italian restaurant was good but the “vue” seemed under prepared/staffed to manage the people attending for breakfast with long waits for coffee and food . Food was underwhelming serving size of for the price. We got the breakfast poke bowl with the smallest sliver of hallumi. All in all suited our purpose for a one night stay but I see why people go to Bali instead of Darwin with the high prices. >$350 for a room for the night to look at the back bar of the pool and hear the pool slurping all night . Maybe next time we have to spring for an ocean view ?

Over priced

Without hesitation the reception staff immediately found us a better room as when we entered our first room (one of the older ones) it smelt of mould. They gave us a bigger new room for no extra charge which was good of them. The newer lagoon resort area looked great and we swam in the enormous pool which was lovely. Had good service at The Vue where we had breakfast.

Not a huge fan of staying in casinos, prefer smaller more boutique type accommodation. It's all a bit soulless.

We ordered the breakfast box. We were extremely disappointed with the food we were sent. Two pieces of hard fruit as green as grass. A piece of banana bread with Vegemite and no butter. Cereal which we didn’t choose. We were reimbursed for the two boxes.

Because it is not a high rise hotel it is spread out over quite a big area therefore quite long walks to get to car park, restaurant, We were right next to a gate leading to the pool but it was locked ??

Breakfast was ok. The renovations are going ok.

No balcony furniture, no bedside lamps. Poor GF food options. 7am Reno actions started in the room above us with hammering and power tools. Reporting concerns to staff yielded nothing but an email to the administration yielded results.

Everything is here, beautiful pools, food & coffee. Beautiful sunsets. Rooms recently renovated and are nice.

Would have like a clothes Airer in the room.
