"Simple accommodation for an overnight. "

Beautiful town to visit in summer. Economy Lodge is walking distance to the historic downtown and Grand Canyon Railroad station. Rooms were fine. Breakfast was pathetic, even for a continental as cryptically advertised on the web site (toast, yogurt, cold cereal, juice). Dining area is small and cramped at the entrance. Their coffee machine was broken and they had no alternative set up! Said to make coffee using the small machine in the room (one cup at a time). That coffee was bad. McDonald’s across the street was better. Coffee shop in the historic district was good (named Brewed Awakening).

Easy booking. Location. Quiet. Plenty of parking.

Room not clean; carpets dirty & bedding top soiled. Air conditioning loud. Breakfast coffee machine in disrepair. No elevator.

Sorry to say, I got sick and couldn’t travel. But I’m sure it would have been wonderful. When I’m recovered I will try it again.
