Coratel Inn and Suites Maple Grove

The room smells damp, we had to buy air fresheners,sheets on the bed,towels had steins on them the face basin drain was filthy. This is my honest opinion about the Coratel

This hotel operates under what looks like a scam deposit policy. Guests are forced to pay a $100 cash-only deposit (cards are refused), and I personally wasted almost four hours going to multiple ATMs just to get the cash they demanded. At checkout, deposits are not automatically returned — the hotel claims you must come back within 24 hours to ask for it, or it is forfeited. They make you sign paperwork but refuse to provide a copy, which is extremely suspicious. This is not a standard practice in the hotel industry — it looks like a deliberate setup to keep cash from unsuspecting travelers. Given how this is structured, it should be investigated as a predatory business practice.

Relaxing and chill Need few renovations to the room and change of sheets

While it appears the room was updated with new carpet and paint, the room smelled like stale cigarette smoke. The bedspread was old with holes in it.
