Holger Danske Hotel

Very good experience. I booked the room last minute and the front desk agent was very patient and stayed past her working hours to ensure the room I needed was ready.

Hotel crews are kind. But conditions of hotel is terrible and worst ever.

Good place for afterwork relaxation

The hotel is a in a quiet location and the space is clean and comfortable.

The mattresses are old and smelly. I awoke with bug bites or spider bites on my legs and arms. I ended up purchasing an air bed and sleeping on that.

Good Staff.

Had a basic room with king bed. Lots of room to move around and put luggage. Has a mostly screened porch with a couple chairs though some is just lattice, Ground floor looks at a wall & plants. I think the room only had a desk chair for seating. Pool on roof was warm and has a little shade area sometimes of the day. Parked in the onsite lot which probably holds 6 cars and is tight backing back out depending on how others park. Sometimes there was street parking in front. I think the city lot across the street is free in evening & night.. Right on boardwalk which was nice to get to dining & shopping options, plus a nice water view. Also easy walk to the fort.

We needed a place to stay over night due to unexpected air traveling issues. It was a decent for over night. The price was lowest compared to other hotels but still too pricey for that property. It is on the boardwalk to the location was the great. The pool was nice but I had little concern of the quality of water (chemical).

street to access Hotel is a mess

The first room that I was given was not acceptable but the staff was very kind and helpful to move me to a new room. The hotel is located very close to the boardwalk, dining, and beach access. I had a very nice stay experience and would rebook again.
