Flamingo Hotel

Oscar at the front desk was so warm and friendly! I enjoyed talking with him. The hotel is a nice little 'mom & pop' type hotel. Tucked away on a quiet street with not many people inside or outside the hotel (at least not during my stay). The wifi worked fine for me, but I was told that fluctuates on a room by room basis. The room had good AC and a hair dryer installed on the bathroom wall. The breakfast was ok, but cheap at about $4 USD. It's great that the hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the ferry. However, the beaches you will want to see on this island are located 30km away and you will either need to rent a car/scooter or pay for a pricey taxi in both directions. The shoreline by the hotel is mostly rocks and some trees, though the water and sunsets are beautiful, and there is a lively center of town nearby.

The Hotel is clean, the staff are friendly from the frond desk, manager, cleaning staff, servers, bartender, helpful, and reliable. The location is 3 blocks from the Ferry, everything is a walk away. Also the hotel is quiet, no loud parties or music in the bar area, a plus if you actually want to have a place to sleep in relative quiet (you are downtown after all). WiFi works very well. Lots of breakfast choices Drawbacks I'm a diver so i have heavy luggage, There is no elevator so carrying everything up to floor three was strenuous after a 10 hour trip. It takes about 3 minutes to get the hot water going for the shower, no big deal just something to be aware of. On one day there was an equipment failure and the hotel was without water for a few hours, having staff with bottles of water available would have been nice. Limited drawer space available.

Friendly helpful staff, rooms and property are very clean, the breakfast was very good and had a couple excellent drinks at the bar. 1 mile from the airport. The location is good.

Nice inexpensive hotel, close to the beach, ferry, and shops in Cozumel. Staff is very attentive. Specially Ivan the bartender. He is super helpful and always have good recommendations for any restaurant or service that customers may have.

Not my first stay at Flamingo. I return because it’s a great hotel at t great value. It’s a bonus that ALL the staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

I keep returning here – it feels like my home in Cozumel. Next-door and across the street from a restaurant, half a block from the ocean. It’s the staff that makes me want to come back again and again.

Very nice hotel in the downtown district of Cozumel Mexico. It is only a block away from the main strip where all the restaurants and store shops are. The hotel is small but has everything you need except a swimming pool. The room was spacious and the bsthroom was very clean. The front desk was very helpful and assisted us with different activities to do.

Hotel is convenient to downtown.The hotel has a bar which is nice if you do not wish to roam around.The staff double as management and bartenders and all do well at both.
