Deceptive and Disappointing We arrived with high hopes, fueled by the enticing images plastered across their website. However, our expectations were shattered upon arrival. The reality was starkly different from the picturesque facade portrayed online. First impressions were telling - the desolate scene greeted us with only a couple of vehicles in a vast, empty parking lot. Located a staggering 4 miles away from civilization, the property seemed stranded in the middle of nowhere, accompanied only by a seemingly abandoned restaurant and RV park. The main draw, the pool, was a major letdown as it was inexplicably closed. This closure, conveniently absent from any online description, was a significant factor in our decision to book. The actual state of the property was far from inviting; instead, it exuded an aura of neglect and decay. Strangely, reviews we encountered prior to our visit failed to mention the dilapidated condition of the premises, leaving us suspicious of their authenticity. In hindsight, the unusually low price should have served as a warning sign. Disappointed and disillusioned, we opted for accommodations at a reputable national brand nearby, where we found the safety and modern amenities we were seeking. In conclusion, the hotel failed to deliver on its promises, leaving us feeling deceived and regretful of our decision. We urge prospective guests to exercise caution and manage their expectations accordingly.

The hotel is being renovated but it was very nice for the rate. It was quiet and the restaurant next door was amazing. Will definitely be returning here again.

From bugs to stained sheets to broken lights to water damaged ceiling to cars with dismounted tires …

Towels were kink of thin for drying!!!...light switches were not working right!!!...no windows...tiny tv...broken chair...

This property is one of the only reasonably priced options along a long stretch of highway, but unfortunately it is in a fair amount of disrepair. Everything is very worn and it did not feel well kept up. The cleaning woman we encountered was very nice and friendly, though, and clearly doing her best with situation. We unfortunately would not choose this property again.

Owners put no money into the property. Its old and ran down. The pool area is closed because it's to much for them to keep up with. Nothing broke, just to cheap to keep it up.

The hotel was filthy from the moment we stepped foot in the lobby, just disgusting! The doors to the room wouldn’t lock, the connecting room door wouldn’t lock, the pool area was gross and like an overgrown jungle. We felt so uncomfortable there we decided to make the 3 hour drive home instead of staying. HORRIBLE. do not stay here!!

Lovely staff, very efficient, and they sure saved us in a pinch while we were trying to get away from the eclipse path crowds! New carpets and artwork in the rooms, the refrigerator and microwave both worked well. Renovations underway for the courtyard, but at least the lack of people trekking through there made it a VERY quiet place to get a great night's sleep. The building is older, but kept up well by a family who is continually improving the hotel. Enjoyed a nice breakfast before setting out on the road again.

I reserved a room and paid through Expedia. When I got to the hotel the manager told me I had to pay again and that he did not accept Expedia payment and I had to pay in cash. Then he tells me that if I’m not going to pay to leave. I contacted expedia and told me they would refund me however when they reached out to the property manager wasn’t approving anything. I did not get any services, had nothing under my control, and was still denied a refund. I tried to check in but the manager was rude and intimidating. I would not recommend this hotel for anyone at all. Today I received an email from Expedia that stated that they will not continue to help me or do anything. The property is located in the middle of desert, it was a scary location almost apocalyptic looking. The manager did not do anything to help, or accommodate and state continuously that without cash payment he would not help at all. Again, please don’t stay here. Saving a couple dollars isn’t worth it. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had in all my years traveling and roadtripping
