Republic Hotel of Ozona

The light bulbs were flickering. Definitely needs updated

The room space was good. We had a big room. But the bathroom, toilet water running 24/7 and toilet clogged and they never showed up to unclog it. I had to do it my self, closet super dirty, TV not working, the pool was closed, staff unfriendly, and breakfast not good at all. Last but not least when I arrived I had to go to the truck stop next door to pick up the key. I couldn't believe it. I would never stay here again nor I would recommend to anyone.

No hot water to shower

The hotel has never been upgraded. The pool was completely empty and broke. The bedding has burn holes and stained. The lamps were all rusted out. The microwave was disgusting with no glass tray and the fridge had mold.

Just passing through

Too far away from town. Had to ask for hand towels, Kleenex and soap

Place is really old and outdated. Hottest temps so far this year and the pool was out of order and empty. Area around it very overgrown. The first room we had toilet would not flush and second one the water came out of faucet slimy. Stuffy and smoky smell in room. Restaurant was closed and no other place near to get food.

As far as West Texas hotels go, this is exactly what I expected. We got there at 2 am and had to go the gas station next door to get a hotel key. Unclear directions on that. The hotel room beds, and general structure/items was nice. The bathroom was run down. The water stopped working in the morning and we couldn’t take showers because of it. However for $64 this is completely what we expected from it. We got what we paid for.
