Republic Hotel of Ozona

To check in was inconvenient, they didnt have front desk staff you had to check in at the gas station. I asked for 2 beds got one king size.

The workers here are always very kind. Great place to get some shut eye before heading onward into west Texas.

Front desk employees were nice.

Excellent spot with affordable rates. Will stay there any time I'm passing through. Accommodating and straightforward.

This was not a nice place. First room was dirty, 2nd room was a little better but still not great. Spider came out of the bed sheets. Took forever for heater to warm the room. Breakfast area was dirty and not much to get anyway. It was cheap but we now know why.

This is the most run down, creepy, off road, back woods, psycho killer movie hotel if a real life one existed! Air conditioning didn’t work, the front desk person called uncle/grandpa/someone and he showed up in pajamas to “fix” it. Awkward beyond belief! The slider, which was not locked when we checked in, lead to a jungle which was their pool area that had been shut down “due to unforeseen circumstances” There were jungle ropes hanging into our lounge area! If we booked that experience purposely it would have been amazing BUT not as a last minute option! Do yourself a favor and drive a few miles further! There’s less horror movie vibes and clean towels!

Place is a dump! Dirty, old, missing tiles, nasty carpeting, old and wornout beds. Old furniture. Pics on internet are nothhing like the real thing.

Sheets had dirt stains. Everything is old and rusty. Very small breakfast. Noisy air blowing from the AC all night—sounded like a bathroom fan that could not be turned off. Hard to fall asleep. Pool and hot tub not working/open. Beds were comfortable at least. Hotel was worth $30 maybe, not $70.
