Location is good, atmosphere is nice simply because it's in Petaluma. Rooms are tired. The beds looked disgusting with wrinkled sheets as if they'd been lying in a basket (i hope not waiting for a wash!). The shower curtain liner is made of fabric allowing water to wet the bathroom floor among other things. Long story short, i asked for these 2 things to be corrected; beds got made as you see in the photos; no one at the hotel seems to know what a waterproof shower curtain liner looks like. The lobby is unclean, uninviting and unusable (worktable with outlets but no power as seen in photo). Even if housekeeping is not around, front staff should know how to keep the front clean and presentable... Or management could take pride in their business and hire enough housekeeping staff. It looks like management likes to be off on weekends which says a lot about their ideas of customer service. We booked here based on our confidence in the Marriott name, but this has been a disappointing weekend stay. I do NOT recommend staying here. It does not reflect it's pricepoint in service or presentation.

Excellent location and staff. Good gym to workout. Also right next to walking trails (literally at the edge of the parking lot). I was there for a business trip but got a good hike in.

The hotel bar was small, nothing to eat there, I had to drive downtown to find a place to eat. The area was a little dirty and the parking lot had trash in it. For the price I paid, I expected the property to be better. Overall it was okay, I wouldn’t stay there again for that price.

We had a nice stay there. Good buffet breakfast. Property needs lots of exterior maintenance. The light rail train runs near the property and a bit noisy and was fun to set your watch by! Would stay there again if in the area.
