Novotel Milton Keynes

room was good, breakfast was very good, facilities generally were very good and the place was friendly.

My only gripe is that the room toilet was very low and for a senior citizen with bad knees that was uncomfortable

I liked the location, the room and the quality of the food.

There wasn't anything I didn't like.

Decent for a one night stay!

Staff lied about the pool being unusable due to a safety issue, the whole time a family of 6, including 4 young children were in the pool the whole time it was "unusable!" Stayed here specifically to use the pool! Then got to use it for 20mins when I questioned why there were still people in the pool if there is a safety issue, staff lied and said the issue (fallen roof tile) had been repaired despite being told it could take 24hrs as it was a Sunday.

Whoever was the cleaner they did an amazing job, they cleaned and left our room spotless and also left on the table our folded clothes. Reception greeted us with a smile on the face and it was great from the beginning to the end.

The people behind the bar, they don't understand customer service, when I asked if they can put our drinks on the room they said you just have to pay for it after they checked on a paper. They have no training whatsoever in how to serve alcoholic beverages
