Location and facilities

I asked for a double bed in advance and got two single beds (unacceptable) I wanted to pay cash and they haven’t accepted my bill because it was a 500€ bill. If a traveller is giving a 500€ bill in an exchange at the airport and a commercial establishment, such as Eurostars hotel doesn’t accept it, what we are meant to do? Ridiculous
