Holiday Inn Express Destin E - Commons Mall Area by IHG

The overall location was absolutely perfect considering we did not have our own car to get around. There was a lot to either walk to or we could do a quick uber.

It took a day to get someone to come check out our sink drain in the hotel. We noticed issues with the water draining too slow when we got there and the first time, we mentioned it to the staff apparently the maintenance crew didn't get the message initially.

The location was great, and the price was amazing. The breakfast was good, but the breakfast area could have been a little cleaner and the food fresher, as it seems they used a lot of leftovers because the biscuits were harder by the day,

Expensive and breakfast not real good

The location was the biggest highlight of our stay. The hotel was conveniently located near shopping, restaurants, family entertainment, and the beach. Everything we wanted to do was within about 5–15 minutes, which made traveling with family very easy. We also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast each morning, which was a great value and a convenient way to start our day before heading out to explore Destin.

Housekeeping was somewhat inconsistent during our stay. We also noticed stains on our bedsheets upon arrival the first night, which was disappointing. Additionally, there was a plumbing issue that caused the toilets to stop flushing for about half a day, creating an inconvenience for guests.
