Pestana Palm Gardens

Great spot within a 5 minute walk to O stop and beach. Staff was incredibly friendly and it seems like they have been updating the grounds. Villa was well kept just a little dated, but the decor was clean and aesthetically pleasing!

We stayed as a family of 5 for a night in transit to Spain. The property is a clean, lovely and quite well maintained. The washroom and kitchen are a little dated but well kept. Lots of restaurants within a few min drive. Beach is a 10 min walk. Ocean view was lovely. We enjoyed the stay.

Basic hotel accommodation but well located. Our room required some maintenance during our 4 day stay. Took two requests to have these items corrected. Beds were hard. Wifi worked well. This was our second time staying at this facility but we won’t stay again. Not well managed in my opinion.

This property suited us perfectly. It was in easy driving distance to some of the coastal highlights, the restaurant food was excellent and it was in a quiet neighbourhood away from the busy downtown core.

This property is good value for money. The 2 bedroom units have kitchens with washing machines, there is cable TV, access to a pool and tennis courts. The restaurant serves excellent food. It is owned by a husband and wife who love good cuisine.

Air conditioner was leaking water. Maintenance came to repair the next day but left our door open without locking it. It was outrageous.

Had a lovely stay in a superior two bed townhouse with sea view. Apartment was spacious, clean (cleaned every day) and comfortable and had everything you need including air con, fly screens across the windows / patio doors, dishwasher, freezer and lovely powerful hot showers. Both the downstairs patio and the roof terrace had tables and chairs and sunbeds - the rooftop terrace being private and out of sight of neighbours. The hotel is well situated for a short easy walk into town. Unusually for us we ate three nights in the hotel restaurant as it was so good - fantastic quality food plus such friendly service and nice ambience. The hotel grounds are well kept with lots of attractive plants and trees and there’s plenty of parking. My only improvement suggestion would be more comfortable patio chairs!

On site restaurant and pool side bar had excellent food for dinner. Service and staff were outstanding!!!!! Location is tucked away and quiet despite “family friendly” so we enjoyed quiet sunrises and sunsets on the patio overlooking the sea. Apartment was roomy enough (2 bedrooms) and a family could have had a person stay on the couch in the loft as well. Rooftop terrace was private and had a great view. Our Al fresco meal out there with local cheese and meats we bought at market was one of our favorite evenings.

Good location, several grocery options nearby. Bathroom in our unit was small, even by european standards. A nice touch would be to provide a few more basics, like paper towels and a small container of laundry detergent.
