Hilton Garden Inn Springfield, MA

I did not like the fact that it said on my breakfast coupon says complimentary but I actually paid for our breakfast, that is a straigh up not true

Room was clean and spacious. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful and got us checked in and out quickly, and with a smile and a laugh! Parking was easy and hotel was easy to get to. Although we didn't make use of it, Pizzeria Uno next door seems handy. Right next door to Basketball Hall of Fame too. Lots of pleasant indoor/outdoor communal gathering spaces also which families were making use of.

I've travelled all around the world and this was one of the most expensive rooms I've ever been in. Although the room was pleasant, $500/night seems insanely expensive for an average double queen room in a chain-brand hotel. I recognize there were graduations happening nearby but that is just nuts. Also, it would be nice if breakfast started a little earlier than 7. We had to be somewhere by 7:00 and I was hoping there might be a grab-and-go option set out like muffins or something but that was not the case.

I have never been in any Hilton Hotels that they asked for $3 for a bottle of water!!!! All the hotels have a free mineral water per day per guest!

clean property. Right outside the Hall of Fame, which is nice. Its good value.

There's lots of drug/homeless activity just outside the property, if you're walking any further than the hall of fame, just be careful.

Location and staff.

Rooms were not checked . We had to reuse towels and trash was overflowing. First time I ever stayed somewhere where trash was not emptied and fresh towels. My first stay at a Hilton maybe my last.
